Kinerase - anyone used it ? need you to share your experince

hi all,

after my TCA peel, i ordered a Kinerase lotion and got it two days ago.

never tried it before.
i just read it's good for pigmentation and doesn't make skin sensitive.
since i'm very prone to freckles it sounds good to me.

anyone can share his experienc / results with me ?

i thought at least trying it for benefit of that depressing my pigmentation to re-appear. do i know it actually really helps with that ?

got kinerase in August and started putting it on once a day before bedtime. All reviews I read said it was as good as Retin-A without the flakiness and peeling. I persevered for 2 weeks but my skin broke out in lots of small spots especially around my mouth and chin. They showed no sign of going until I stopped using Kinerase. I'm normally not sensitive to products but I reacted badly to the lotion.
Use it on my hands now - one expensive handcream.

I used the whole tube and it didn't do a thing for me. No difference in my skin, good or bad. Wasn't very moisturizing either.

Another waste of $50......... Bad Grin

well, sadly to say, i have the same experience as miss shoes... i also used up a tube and it didn't seem to do any magic on my skin nor did it cause any problems either... so i'm not sure what to tell you... Sad

i think asking for couple of samples to try before purchasing it may be a way to go??

i've had a good experience using kinerase cream on my face, and their hydrating eye cream. i think i've had general improvement in skin tone and clarity. recently bought their new intensive eye cream, and like it even better than the hydrating eye cream. it's richer. the night-use exfoliating lotion is too harsh for me, turns me red and kind of dry. the cleanser is okay, but cetaphil is as good, and cheaper. i do like their cheap little lip balm too. i've ordered a new c and e cream, wondering how that will be.

Last year I watched on the E channel(Entertainment) the episode "It's good to be Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt".
The show mentioned that Jennifer and Brad order Kinerase by the case load and lather it all over their body!

I've used the cream before and it did nothing for me. It didn't even moisturize very well. If you want real results, I would suggest that you get Retin-A which is actually scientifically proven to improve your skin.

I've never seen Jennifer or Brad's skin without makeup or up close, so what products they use is irrelevant to me.

I have a two oz. sample and used it all up on my neck and the tops of my hands. It felt really nice. I can't say whether I saw any difference but the skin definitely felt smoother. Maybe if I had used it for longer than six weeks, I would have actually SEEN a difference. I did like it I just can SEE a diff. with my Retin-A. But I have also been using it for years...

The Kinerase Cream worked better than anything I had tried over the years on the tiny wrinkles and texture around my eyes especially. I often have really bad reactions (burning, breakouts) to other skin care products. I can't use anything with Retinol or Retin A or I will either break out, redness, irritation, so Kinerase was a welcome relief.

However... now I feel like it's done all it can do: some improvement, not as much as I'd like. It never had much of an effect on the slightly deeper lines on my forhead, my two smile creases, or my newish (eek!) frown crease between my eye brows.

After reading the other reviews, I wonder if this product works better on people with fair skin? I'm 33 with fair skin, and people always think I'm in my early to mid 20s. Four months ago I actually tried Botox injections on my forehead and frown line, influenced by a friend who is 40 and looks 24 (no kidding). But I hated the result - yes, my forhead was smooth. But I swear it made my eyes look smaller/swollen... my theory is the skin that is folded up in my forhead, microscopic as it is, had to go somewhere, right? So it slid down as it was relaxed and hung up on my brow area! Yuck. Thankfully it's wasn't permanent! It righted itself after 3 months and I'll live with the creases rather than looking like a sleepy racoon, if that's my only option.

But this is supposed to be about Kinerase... I don't think it helped with fading my freckles or other skin blotches (faint) on my face either. I will continue using it just once a day while I search for something else non-irritating that will be more effective.

I have use this in the past, the regular and the professional one that you get from Dr's.

Neither did anything special. They were nice creams but not worth the price.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would say its as effective as Retin-a.

I also tried both eye creams and thought they were awful. They do anything and made my eye area look worse.
