Okusil as an eye remedy? Or something else? HELP

I recently started the Obagi C RX system but don't really find it is helping in the eye area (and I am a little hesitant to apply close to the eyes since it is irritating my skin). I have lines under my eyes (not so much in the crows feet area). I've read some good reviews about the Okusil in these forums and am thinking about trying it (without any other products from the AD line). Does anyone think this will help or is there something better that I should be trying? Or multiple products?? Thanks you.

Hi, just checking again to see if there is any advice out there? I have wasted SO MUCH money on eye creams and gels...in fact, I have about 8 open product here that do absolutely nothing to help my under eye lines. I would just hate to add to that inventory Sad

I have dark cicles too and when I try to hide them with concealer, it just makes my lines stand out more Sad

I believe there are better options than Okusil for the eye area. In order to minimize under eye lines, I would have used a retinoid/retinol product. You may use the same product that you use on the rest of your face. In order to make the retinoid less irritating around your eyes, you might apply a layer of moisturizer prior to the retinoid cream.

I also have high hopes for the dermatologist favorite Relastin Eye Silk which received an award for best anti-wrinkle eye cream from Allure Magazine.

I purchased the Relastin, and it is very lightweight and non-irritating...but I haven't been using it long enough to see any change (only 2 days).

BTW, if anyone is considering this, don't buy it at their website...it is grossly overpriced.

I got it at skincareRx with 20% off by using a coupon code. That brought it down to $55 from $99. Very Happy

But then I just ordered the ZO eye cream last night...I may do a test between the 2 and see how they compare.

The most potent retinoid product is prescription strength Retin-A.

Avene Retrinal, Avene Eluage and Avene Ystheal contain retinaldehyde, and is supposedly the next best alternative, as retinaldehyde is believed to be more bioavailable than retinol.

Based on my own experience and recommendations on the forum, these brands have some good OTC retinol creams: PSF, Green Cream, SkinCeuticals, SkinMedica, Philosophy, Leaf & Rusher Active serum (also contains vitamin C). HTH. Smile

I got the ZO Skin Health eye cream. I only have have used it for 2 days, so nothing to report yet on help with wrinkles. I apply this to my brow bone area, as well as crows feet and under the eyes (I have lines there as well!). The eye cream does give me a slight lifting effect when I apply it to the brow bone to make my eyes look less hooded.
