I am trying to decide which MMU to purchase and am driving myself crazy!!
I have tried Bare Escentuals but I find it drying. It seems to highlight my large pores and is extremely cakey around the eye area (yes, I use eye cream before applying). It just seems very....noticeable, once I'm done applying.
I am torn between the following lines:
Amazing
GloMinerals
Susan Posnick
Karen Herzog
I am intrigued by the Susan Posnick due to the high SPF protection (and I like the built in brush idea!)... But it's rather expensive (if it is outstanding compared to the others, I am willing to pay).
Do all MMUs provide SPF protection? This seems to be the only one that specifies a level??
I think I prefer a more radiant finish (as opposed to matte) and need fairly good (& lasting) coverage??? |

You should try to go for a brand that doesn't have bismuth oxychloride as that could dry out skin and cause irritation. The smaller MMU companies have pretty good offerings at a more reasonable price as they don't spend so much money in advertising and branding. You might like to add Monave to your list. Their original formula foundation has glow. Also Joppa Minerals. |

Thanks so much. I feel like I know nothing but I am starting to learn so much from these forums I will be sure to check the ingredients...I had no clue what to avoid before. |

I don't know much about ingredients, but read on EDS that UGloGirl is good for dry skin and have been using it and like it. |

Thank you for all of the suggestions...I will check them out. I guess my other concern is color...I use fair in BE. I tried Everyday Minerals and 6 samples later, I still don't have a color that works for me!! I REALLY don't want to start mixing my own color. |
