Hello Everyone,
It has been a while since I have posted a RAVE on this forum, and I'm READY!
Alison Raffaele Concealer is just about the most fantastic makeup product I have EVER used. It is PERFECT:
--creamy, elegant texture
--perfect amount of coverage--covers dark circles, spider veins, redness, you name it!
--lasts and lasts and lasts on the skin
and finally...
--it DISAPPEARS into the skin and looks SO natural.
I would say that it is like the AMAZING COSMETICS concealer, but is less drying to the skin (and thus perfect to use underneath the eyes) and is MUCH more natural looking.
AND it comes in a kind of "lipgloss" tube with a soft applicator that makes it very easy to apply. Like the Amazing concealer, a little goes a long way.
Last but not least, Alison Raffaele concealer is a GREEN product, with no real toxic ingredients and environment-friendly production and formulation.
I cannot say enough about this product--if you are in search of your HG concealer, go out and buy this now!
She is a makeup artist who is involved in the green makeup movement, and I totally support her cause and her desires to bring such excellent, luxurious, green products to market!

Thanks for your review. I've been lemming this for ages. Now with your review, I'm gonna have to give it a try.
Have you tried her other products? I'm also interested in her loose powder that comes with a brush. Sorry, don't remember what it's called. |

| I wish there were a way to get a sample first. Is the undertone yellow or pink? If it's pink, I probably can't use it... |

I'm olive-y and it has NO pink at ALL.
Otherwise I would not be able to use it.

| I am fond of Alison Rafaele products (I've used the Skin Reality Base for years, although my current bottle is the old forumulation). I will definitely look for this. One good thing for all people in Vancouver Canada is that this product line is sold at Beautymark in Yaletown, and I've heard the Holt Renfrew also carries it. I guess I will finish up my current Cargo concealer (which I have been raving about, but for some reason lately it is just not right for me anymore). Time to move on to something else and AR sounds good. |
