I'm almost done with my first jar and I have to say this product is very decent. I think it's an excellent cream for the day to put on under sunblock. It absorbs quickly and thoroughly without leaving much behind. I was never a fan of moisturizing sunblocks so this basically solved the problem of applying two creams every morning. However, I do think I'll need to get a heavier cream for overnight use during the winter. |

Welcome, Momos, thanks for the review. Does the cream have it's own sunblock? |

I am a little confused. You said you don't like moisturizing sunblock, but you also said this solves the problem of having to put on two creams. How is that? |

Thank you for welcoming me! I'm so sorry I should have been more clear...
This product provides 0 sun protection (no SPF listed anywhere on the product).
I have dry skin so I use a cream vs a lotion during the day. I don't like to use face creams with SPF in it, it's just a personal preference of mine and probably more of an excuse to try more things Moreover, I usually go for really high SPFs. Right now I use Shiseido SPF 55 and though I wouldn't say it's heavy, it's also not very light imho. So what I meant to say is that the MD Formulations cream is moisturizing to my dry skin, but light enough to put another cream on top of it.
Hope this makes sense and sorry about that! |
