Ive been puttin alot of different creams on my face as i used to massage it daily but i discovered that this caused alot of small tiny spots on my face.
i went to my gp regarding the spots i got from the overuse of creams and he gave me some antibiotics which helped to get rid of the spots. I have noticed that these spots have left marks on my face and its been about 3-4 months since ive had the spots. Is there anything that you can reccommend to help the marks to go away, thanks |

| AHA helps clear up the spots quicker then letting fade them on their own. I like Paula's Choice AHA for this. |

Exfoliation is key. AHAs are good, but so are retinoids. If you have sensitive skin, then you should start with over-the-counter stuff you can find in the drugstore.
If you can handle hydroquinone, I'd recommend a product containing it. I know there's some controversy surrounding the ingredient but I've used it regularly in the past (and I have 'ethnic' skin) and have experienced no problems. Kojic acid, azelaic acid, licorice, white daisy extract, and vitamin c are also supposed to lighten marks.
I have really tough skin and used a combination of Tazorac, Skinoren (which contains azelaic acid...good for red marks), an occasional AHA (Alpha Hydrox 10%) and Physicians Formula PCA Skin PHaze with hydroquinone + kojic acid to get rid of my marks. They went from being dark to hardly visible in about three months. |
