Eve and Mabsy told me about this lovely line some time ago, and I have been wanting to try Montagne Jennesse products for a while, but have never seen them in stores. Montagne Jennesse is a natural line, and you can buy them in the drugstore of all places, if you live in the U.S. I got 3 of them on sale for about $5 or something U.S. dollars! They are sold in little packets, and will last 2-3 uses if you store the opened packet in a ziplock bag.

Ok now for the review. I had tried the mud pack, and wasn't all that impressed. But i the sauna masque which is a self heating therapy clay. It actually is warm right out of the packet as soon as it touches skin Shock and it is a really nice comforting type of warm *kinda like snuggling under a comforter or blanket fresh out of the dryer on a winter day Wink * There is no tingling, burning, or extreme heat, just a pleasant warm feeling on the skin. It's a perfect pick me up masque when you are in a hurry, because you put it on for 5 minutes. Montagne Jennesse ads are misleading though in terms of color representation. The packaging shows a bright red masque when in actuality it is a soft pink color. The results? It appeared that my skin felt cleaner and pores did look minimized. I will be repurchasing as you can't beat the price! Next I will be trying the cucumber peel off masque.

Glad you liked it. Very Happy
Not sure you'll enjoy the other one so much but the self heat & the strawberry aha are my faves.
I had one of these in the bath last night. Leave it for a few minutes then massage it round again - it seems to reheat that way. Yum.

Hi ladies,
Thanks for your comments. Will definitely have to try that strawberry one. Are their body treatments or foot treatments worth trying? I have rarely seen that line in stores. The store I bought it at, only had 3 of the masks. Just wanted to update that today my skin looked better than it has in weeks! It was kinda glowy. Yay! I don't know if it has anything to do with that masque, but I'm definitely repurchasing as it is such a bargain! Perfect size for traveling too. It's *so* nice to know there are affordable good products out there. just bought an Eminence Organics rose tonique today for $40 *gasp!* Never did I think I would spend that much on a toner!

Hmmmm, these masques sound interesting. Cheap, and they work!

Eve, where did you purchase in the UK? Would trusty ole' Boots stock them?

Thanks!

Hi Toe yes Boots stock them but I've also seen them cheaper at Asda and Wilkinson's Wink

I do use the anti-cold and the one for achey muscles bath sachets.

They also have a bust gel, cellulite mud, body mud. But I imagine you have to be consistant in use to see a great improvement. All nice though.

Eh?

What does the citrus cloth masque do for the skin? Also, what's the cloth bit all about? Is there a cloth involved?

It's a cloth type face shaped thing impregnated with citrus orangy mask. I spose it helps to keep more stuff on the face Confused Either way, you get a mega glow! (tho I wouldn't try it right before a big night out Laughing )

Here's a list of stockists in the USA.

Wal-Mart
Target
K-Mart
CVS
Rite-Aid
Longs
Duane Reade
Ahold

Hope they mean something to you. I only recognise Wal-Mart and K-Mart on that list. Confused
