This happens sometimes but it is so freaky. Like today I felt fine all day, I did a bit of shopping, layed around the house, cleaned a little. Then all of a sudden I feel this pain in my wrist and it looks like a very superficial linear cut or scrape. Just like a small tear in the skin and red. I put some oregano oil on it and it stung like it really was broken skin. Then 5-10 min. later I notice that on my other wrist there is the same thing but tons and tons of them over the top of the wrist, and the first wrist was full of more of them too. What are the odds, both wrists? It is all red and blotchy and looks like little tears and scrapes. If I had scraped my wrists against anything abrasive I would of noticed it. That did not happen. Also the scrapes and redness seem to follow the lines that are naturally on my wrist. You know the little lines in the skin. When I look closely and stretch the skin apart it looks like the skin where the lines are are broken. Nothing is bleeding and it's not itchy, it just stings, especially after rubbing oregano oil on the wrist. But it is all red. Maybe it's a rash but I haven't touched anything new or unusual and it just stings but no itching, no bumps or swelling or anything. If it's just extremely dry skin, why would it appear so suddenly and limited to such a small area? I don't get it. It's freaking me out. |

You probably just scratched yourself and don't remember. I do it all the time. Sounds like you reached into something and just scraped your wrists a bit.
If it's not itchy, it's not an allergic reaction to anything.
You should put neosporin on it, not oregano oil(?).
Definitely not something to freak out about. |

I get it (mysterious cut, scrape, bite, bump, bruise, etc) all the time. I give up trying to figure out how it got there. You're not alone. |

When you say the cuts follow the lines in your skin, possibly it is just extremely dry skin. Do you have eczema? |
