Hey ladies, I need your help. Since the last few days my cheeks have been covered with these tiny bumps (i don't think they are pimples because they are small in size). They are extremely itchy and red.
I can't for the life of me think what is causing them. I haven't changed my skin routine. I'm using the Kate Somerville purify cleanser and the Deep tissue repair. I've been using these products successfully for the past 5 months.
My diet hasn't changed much. Over the last month I've started drinking soy milk and eating bread with Omega 3's.
Three weeks ago I started taking the GNC women's ultra mega vitamins. I've also been taking the 500 mcg biotin tablets daily. I think it might be the vitamins or the biotin that's causing this but I'm not sure.
What do you guys think? What could be the culprit?
p.s. I'm 27. I do have oily skin that is prone to monthly (hormonal) breakouts
Thanks so much! |

That definitely sounds like an allergic reaction from something. Maybe you should stop everything, including supplements and see if they go away. I am sure someone will be along with what you could apply in the meantime to help with bumps. Have you tried taking Benadryl to see if that helps?
I would think that after your bumps go away, you should add 1 thing back at a time to see if you can figure out what the culprit is. |

Have you changed makeup? Laundry detergents? Fabric softener sheets? |

I think it's itchy reaction. I had got the condition like that. I need to see the dermatologist right away. |

Thanks for the advice ladies!
bethany, I have changed my fabric softener sheets. But I seldom have any fabric close to my face. I don't wear foundation often. I don't think its my foundation because I've been using it for the past two years without any problem. |

I agree with rileygirl. See if benedryl works. Sounds like small hives to me. DS gets that if he's exposed to one of his food allergens by skin contact. |
