Ahhh.. I wish I’d known that EDS carried this line as yesterday I ordered a couple of products from another website ... and at much higher prices than EDS !!
So any updates? I ordered the foaming cleanser and normalising day moisturiser (now that product has it’s work cut out for it.. ) |

After trying out my 2 new Sophyto products and liking the moisturiser a lot (have only used the cleanser a couple times so not sure on that one yet), I just took the plunge and ordered 5 more Sophyto products. I’m going to try and use just one line for a while... wonder how long that will last
What I like about this range, is all the products have a ph of around 5 or less, which is what I’m looking for in my current fungal phobia (don’t get me started on that .. LOL)
Also, they don’t contain any essential oils, unlike many “natural” lines which seem to be loaded with them. I do love my essential oils, I just don’t like putting them on my face or in skincare products in general. I’ve been using some of the Kimberly Sayer products, and they’re nice, but I’m finding them a little too heavy on the EO for my taste.
Any Sophyto users here? Don't seem to hear much about this line. |

I've been used Sophyto Polyphenol Skin Drops, and Sophyto Tone & Balance Super Bioactive, for about 2 weeks till now, they can be easily and sufficiently absorbed, I'll update my experience later. |

| I read about this line on Truth in Aging. I am curious about the polyphenol drops. Hope you all will come back with an update on how the products are working, specifically if you see any difference in your skin. |

hi,
i also tried the sophyto line this summer; the high potency drops made my skin peel terribly. they use sodium hydroxide in their serums and moisturizers, i think to balance the ph of the product, but that is a well known irritant. i was very disappointed with the products--the packaging, the quality, and the ingredients. i think there are much better organic product lines out there.
i wouldn't recommend it for my skin ttype--normal to dry. maybe it would be good for oilier skin types, since it really seemed to dry my skin out (during a humid summer!). i also would not recommend it for someone who already has red dry skin!

Hi, this line is really useful for the red and sensive skin.
I love Skin drops and Concentrate more. Expeciallly Skin drops, It made the red skin not so red any more and seems a litter thick..
The moisture I do not like, I think sundari neem moisture is better than sophyto moisture for the red sensive skin |

| I have used Sophyto Skin Energising High Potency Concentrate, very light, more like a toner. my skin type is normal to dry in the winter,so i mix 2 drops of Antioxidant Face Firming Serum(The Organic Pharmacy)serum with 5 drops of this item. You'll feel your skin soft and refreshed all day long. and it seems that the skin heals quickly too. you'll find skin at a better balance. As i use the mixture , I really dont know which one plays a leading role in it. |

Oh, don’t be posting this while my new products are in the post on the way!
I’m not familiar with sodium hydroxide, but I checked the ingredients again after reading avalange’s post and it’s in the last 3 ingredients of the products I ordered, so hopefully not too much in there.
My skin is quite oily/tough, so maybe I’ll have better luck. I’m still trialling the “normalising” moisturiser and so far so good, although I’m still far from normal...LOL. It’s got kind of a weird texture/feel to it, hard to describe, but it sinks in well and doesn’t leave a greasy/sticky feel, which I hate for day time. Am not 100% sold on the foaming cleanser. In fact I’m not sure I’m even using it right - can’t believe I just typed that about a cleanser.
I kind of like the packaging on the moisturiser, as it’s small, lightweight plastic and functional. I hate glass bottles and those pump containers that always seem to clog up, and the small size is a plus for me as I travel a lot and have had it up to here with decanting and/or wrapping glass bottles in bubble wrap. The design is pretty ugly though IMO
Am looking forward to trying the drops - I ordered both kinds. |

| I'm interested in ordering the polyphenol drops, but the packaging is a bit strange. Are the little packets single use or how many uses do you get out of each? It's not a week's worth in each, is it? It seems too small. |

| I also used Sophyto Ultra Mild Silken Cleanser for a while now. It has a lovely silky feel and effectively cleanses my skin without leaving it feeling dry. |

Louisa1303,
The Normalising Day Face Moisturiser is perfect for combination skin. You can layer the Polyphenol Skin Drops first and then feather in the moisturiser during the morning.
At night, you can use the Skin Energisign High Potency instead of the Polyphenols.

Allison_Wonderland,
The Polyhenol Skin Drops come in 3 sizes: 25,50 and 75 mls.
The little packets are called monodoses/ampoules/vials. Each ampoule lasts one week. The 25ml size lasts a month, the 50ml size lasts 2 months and the 75ml size lasts 3 months.
You only need a dime size amount (approximately 8-12 drops) per application.

appletini,
Sodium Hydroxide is used to neutralize acidic materials in a formula and also to neutralize, (and so thicken) carbomer based gels. It may sound a rather harsh chemical, but in reality it is one of the safest neutralizers that one can use in a skin care product, because when it has finished its job, it ends up as a simple salt (like table salt, or one of the components of sea water) and water.
We use a very tiny amount, only 1%, and that helps us neutralize our products. Some essential oils or essential oils components could be more irritating thatn sodium hydroxide.
The correct way of applying the Deep Pore Foaming Cleanser is by massaging the foam over face, neck and dècolletè. If the cleanser is quickly absorbed you can dampen your fingertips and continue massaging. One full pump should suffice.
Remove using a clean cleansing pad soaked in either water or Super Bioactive ans wipe skin thoroughly.

ceci,
Sophyto is the first professional grade organic skin care line to be certified by UK Soil Asscociation.
Our formulas contain literally hundreds and hundreds of naturally occurring actives from complete, whole food nutrients.
All our products have a midly acidic pH ranging from 4.6 to 5. A mildly acidic pH supports the skin`s natural functions.
This is a range that benefits a variety of skin issues as our formulas are multi-tasking and self-adjusting.
Our products are aloe vera based, light-weight and free of all artificial fragances and/or essential oils.
We use a food preservative system which allows our formulas to have a 3 years shelf life unboxed and a 2 year shel life once opened.
If you need help in choosing the right products for your skin type, you can e-mail me and I will assess your skin condition.

| I bought a few products from the Sophyto range months ago, and also the sample kit. I have to say I wasn't impressed at all with any of the products, apart from the Dual Action Exfoliating Treatment. Even that I wouldn't repurchase simply because the packaging is so awful. It's expensive and it comes in sachets. Also for some reason a few of the products made my skin sting on application. I like the idea behind the products and was excited to try the range when it was released but it wasn't as effective as I'd hoped. |

I just bought Sophyto's newest product. Here's a link to see it. It's getting all 5 star reviews so far. QVC has a special kit right now so it's like buying the new exfoliating product and getting the toner for free. I'll post a review once I use it a few times.
It's called Sophyto Dual Action. If you click on the Video link above the picture you can see the comapnt rep expalining and demonstrating the product.

Sel I see you didn't care for it to much. |

You might have rosacea. I just figured out that I have it around my nose and mouth. It flares up at certain times. |
