Hello Ladies!
What do you apply before an important date or a special party?
I use Vivier vit C serum + Olos Face Pack.
Or just Marria Galland Eye pads. And drink tons of water ! |

I give myself a home facial of sorts: exfoliate with K. Herzog facial scrub or my exfoliating cloth. Then my Omorovicza clay mask for 20 min followed by a hydrating mask (either Decleor hydrating mask or Dr. Hauschka firming mask)
Haven't tried any eye pads previously - may have to look into that! |

I am in a long distance relationship... this is what I do leading up to visit my bf
Body - A week from the visit, I use DDF Glycolic body lotion every night and loofah in the morning. I don't like the feel of heavy things on my body, but, if I'm feeling a little dry, I use a light hand with Dr Hauschka's Rose body oil. I just love the smell so much!
Face - I alternate Ren's Glycolactic mask one night and use Astara's Blue Flame on alternating ones. After the masks, I use Astara's toner and then a Dr Haushcka Rhythmic Night conditioner ampoule. For morning, I've been using a mix of Burt's Bees Ageless serum mixed with the PSF Berry serum - hydrated, protected and glowy skin!
Edit to add hair things! I use L'Oreal's Mega hair therapy stuff from Sally's... can't remember the exact name, but, it's their seminal product in the yellow tub. This stuff works like no other to make my hair soft and healthy looking! |

I like those Estee Lauder Perfectionist Power Correcting Patches for the undereye area. They plump lift and firm the area for a good 8 hours. I also do a FlexEffect massage and yoga to destress. |

i would agree with the water during the day and i would exfoliate that day using epidermx then use some sort of brightening/radiant mask....at the moment i have a couple of samples of different radiance/brightening masks so i just try that out. If my skin is too dry then i would use a hydrating mask but i usually try to avoid that as i thing it makes me look slightly oiley/darker skin due to hydration, espcially with a milk based cleanser...just i prefer to have a brighter skin look so i tend to avoid hydration masks before an events unless as i mentioned before skin is very very dry then i use the phytomer peeling vegetal |

Hi Rileygirl!
I love the mask... it's one of the best acid masks I've ever used. Helps a lot with brightening. |

I read about a three-day diet that is supposed to do wonders for your skin. It's called the Three Day Nutritional Face Lift by Dr Perricone. I haven't tried this yet, but I'm planning on doing it before my wedding.
Here's the link: http://www.perriconemd.com/index.cfm?action=home.day_face_lift
It involves a lot of salmon. Let me know if any of you try it! |

If I have time, I do a work-out with extra cardio. Swimming is good too, but got to be careful you don’t get those marks left around your eyes by the goggles (or maybe that’s just my problem). Then get a B12 shot.
And a mask or two of course. Sometimes PSF Pumpkin Peel followed by a hydrating mask. At the moment, I like that Kimberly Sayer Hydrating Antioxidant Mask. In fact I often leave that on underneath my make-up. |

RS,
So I checked the reviews on Amazon. Basically, I found a lot of reviews for his books, but I didn't find much for this particular diet (which I think he includes in one of his books). Basically, what I got from the reviews is that people feel better from some of the pointers in his diet, that his products are overpriced, and that his supplement recommendations are pretty good, but don't buy his (get them from other reputable sources - like Whole Foods or something) because, again, his supplements are overpriced
Have you heard anything else about this particular diet...either positive or negative, RS?
Maybe I'll just actually try it and then do a post on it...prolly not til after the holidays, though. Can't give up those yummy pumpkin spice lattes! |
