I wanted to know how does your routine go.... is it cleanse, moisturizer, sunblock, then MMU, then finishing powder?
or is it sunblock last?
i am confused bout using a physical sunblock like where in the routine would it go.
I think both before and after would just mess up the MMU.
please share your tips |

Here's how I do it: cleanse, tone, moisturize, sunscreen, then MMU. It doesn't make such sense to put the sunscreen over the MMU, because then you'd pretty much just wipe it all away, right? Physical sunblock is nice in that it can pretty much go anywhere in the routine and be effective. HTH! |

Sunscreen should go on before MMU. If you wait 20 mins after the sunscreen before you apply MMU, it will dry up enough so that you can get a decent finish on your MMU. Some brands of MMU look OK if your skin is slightly wet and some don't. 20 mins also allows the sunscreen to sink into your skin and form a protective layer (for physical sunscreens) or absorb into your skin (for chemical sunscreens). Do not that it is better not to use a chemical sunscreen that contains avobenzone as its effectiveness can be reduced by mineral make up (how much exactly is not known). |

because physical SS can be quite sticky in a way i usually just use baby powder in my hand take a brush and use that to swirl it round my face which takes the sticky SS look away.
I am not a MMU user, but i have recently decided to try some to get a more even skin tone look. Nor do i use any foundation. Thats why i asked about SS as i thought MMU would just stick to it and i would end up looking like i got makeup on my face!.....especially makeup in wrong color or cakey.
Because i have gone natural al this time i would prefer to look as natural as possible even with MMU on. I just order a couple of samples the other day which im gona try out when they get here so hence the SS question in your routine with MMU |

Cleanse, tone, apply sunblock, then mineral makeup after the sunblock dries. |

I cleanse, moisturize, sunblock, wait 5-10 mins, pearl primer, MMU, then finishing primer. I find the primer really helps the MMU go on without appearing cakey. After I apply the finishing primer I gently pat my face with a PSF microfibre cloth and this takes away any of the loose powder. |
