This is a fragrance free, pale pink colored lip treatment in stick form. The directions say to apply it twice a day, AM and PM.
I have been using this product for only two weeks, but I like it so much that I saw no reason for not writing a review already.
As the product is gel-based, it leaves my lips smooth and well moisturized without the usual waxy feeling I get from most lip balms. In stead of waxes, this lip treatment contains petrolatum, plant oils, silicons, glycerin, cocoa butter, shea butter etc, along with vitamin E, various plant extracts and a whole lot of ingredients I have never heard about. Those who prefer natural, organic lip products should probably stay away from this one.
Clinique Repairwear is a lip treatment, hence it does not contain shimmer, but it gives a somewhat wet/shiny look that enhances the natural pink color of the lips.
What I like most about this product, is that it eliminates all flakiness and dryness, and it stays put for many hours. If I apply it after breakfast, I can still feel the product on my lips after having eaten lunch.
I have been using several lip creams and a lot of different wax-based organic lip balms throughout the years, but this is by far the best in terms of transforming dry, flaky lips into smooth, moisturized lips. That's all I can ask for. If it also gives my lips antioxidant protection, as claimed by the manufacturer, I am very happy.
