I do have staining on the left sde of my eye extending into the crows feet area....however I am not sure if it is staining or melasma. It looks like I took my eye shadow out a little too far.One needs to be extremely careful with this product. When I apply it I use a 15times magnifying mirror under heavy lighting.I make sure that the brush is not dripping with lumigan...I tap the brush several times...and make sure just a tiny amount will go on the root and nowhere else. Also too much product will make your eyes red and stinging sometime. |

One odd thing...I use this on my eyebrows as well, and it has been quite successful at growing longer eyebrow tails. I apply it heavily. Yet there is no purple staining at all there. |

HAHA!! I had a dream that the there was a new drug to change your eye color but it was very irritating and caused your eyes to swell shut for a couple of weeks but that the girls here were intrepid enough to use it!
About the undereye dark circles.... I was thinking that we could try applying a sterile ophthalmic ointment/dry eye lubricant to the lashline after application of Lumigan to prevent it from migrating too much. Sort of like this product: http://www.systane.com/Eye-Lubricant.asp
Does anyone think this will work? I never apply Lumigan to the lower lashes but I also have increased undereye dark circles and my lower lashes are longer. It must mean that the product migrates possibly through excess tears or moisture. |

I have been told proper application is for the top of the eye only, it will migrate to the bottom lashes. |

ok this just STINKS!!!!! I tried to order from alldaychemist and now you have to call in with a valid prescription!!!!Other websites its $47 a bottle too vs $12 at ADC. Can I just ask my doc for a prescript? But why should he give it when he sells latisse?Wouldnt that kinda piss him off? |

That's funny 'cos last night I dreamt that I was looking in the mirror after applying Lumigan, and my eyebrows and eyelashes slowly vanished, leaving bare skin... Beat that for a lash obsessive nightmare scenario! |

Lucyluc,
On page 33 of this thread, Swedish Charlotte posted this for us:
'Cheaper still:
http://www.unitedpharmacies.com/customer/search.php?substring=lumigan
They also have the generic version, Careprost, for $20. It also contains bimatoprost (the same amount as Latisse & Lumigan). Shipping is $7.50.'
Might be worth checking out? |

Hi all. I, too, noticed that Lumigan orders now require a script on ADC. However, if you look on the scrollbar for the brands/names of meds, you will now see LATISSE! The brand is called careprost 0.03% and the active ingredient is still the same! (0.03% bimatoprost) Not only is the ingredient the same, the bottle is only $10. I ordered a couple bottles already, I really hope that it works as well as Lumigan. Can anyone vouch for it? I'm wondering how long it has been available for... |

Careprost has been around forever, it's just the generic Lumigan (and now Latisse) and as we all know, Lumigan has been available for years to treat glaucoma.
We consider it a hot beauty product, but think about it, it's really just another old boring medicine... |
