If I could give your youngins any advice about your skincare routine this would be it: Don't forget about your neck!!! Treat your neck just as good as your treat your face EVERYDAY.
You neck might look fine to you now. But, believe me it is the first part of you that will give away your age and the hardest to improve.
My face really looks great (toned, hydrated and very few lines and wrinkles). My neck could use a lot of improvement. I continue to put ADCE on it and it has helped. Going to start some neck exercises.
Please do yourself this favor. Also, put your sunscreen on your neck (even in the winter). |

I agree with Winnie entirely. Next time you see an older woman who has obviously had a face lift, look a few inches lower at her neck. If if hasn't also been done, its a dead giveaway.
One day several years ago, I was out doing a few errands, dressed in jeans, a sweat shirt, baseball cap and sunglasses. When I checked out at the grocery store, the clerk said "thank you ma'am." I thought how does she know I'm any older than her? Practically nothing on me was showing...except my NECK!!! Yes indeed (and no I have not had plastic surgery)...it was all in my neck...I've been working on it ever since. Take Winnie's advice! |

I must agree with you, but at the same time i have to admit that I haven't always taken good care of my neck (and upper chest) I am much better now (probably because I have a rather large assortment of products that I'm going through ) but I hate to think of all the years when my skincare regime stopped at the jaw line... |

LOL Guapagirl !
I totally agree with protecting your neck, and lower south... and the backs of hands as well. I think one day we're all going to go through our sunblock like water ! I squeeze out a good inch of the Skinceuticals Ultimate UV SPF30 tube every day. |

Hey Winnie
THks for the timely reminder. I have just joined to big "4 0" and am really fretting about wrinkles and sags
AND you are right - I tend to neglect the neck. After reading your message today, I gave my neck a double dose of Valmont's Regenetic Hydration Cream.
I will try to be more disciplined - shut my eyes and think of my plumped Alphaderma CE face with a chicken neck - eeewwwww - got to slather more cream tonite.......
Cheers

Hi becks,
I am taking care of my neck faithfully now. I use the same products that I use on my face.
QUESTION: Do we need special products for our necks. If so, why? Looking forward to comments on this subject.
Might start another post.

I think in order to endure a routine faithfully, we should keep it simple(of course, i don't follow this rule anymore due to constant experimenting).
Use the same products on your neck that you do on your face, unless it's too late and your neck needs extra attention. Then I don't know what to do - since I'm not there yet. All I can say is I am in my mid 30's and for the last 4 yrs I have been using the products on my neck that I do on my face - and it has made a world of difference! |
