I have melasma and have been using Triluma cream 6 nights a week and glycolic acid pads (20%) 1 night each week with noticeable results. In addition, I began a new skin care routine using MD Forte (Level 1) cleanser and lotion. I've been doing this for about a month now. Just yesterday, I noticed flaky skin along my jaw line that's developed. I'd like a good scrub to help get rid of the flaky skin. Any suggestions or recs? Thanks!

maybe u can try Dr Haushka's cleasing cream, coz it contains particles which feels like scrub, but won't be as harsh as that, that's why u can use it daily

My personal favorite the ZO Skin Health Exfoliating Polish...it doesn't fall into the bargain category, but it is the most effective I have found for removing flakes after dermarolling and Obagi Nu Derm. It also has some great actives in it, and is not too abrasive like many of them out there.

Another option (though I haven't tried it myself) is the NIA24 scrub which they do carry here on EDS. It can also help with lightening pigmentation.

Lastly, microfiber cloths are very cheap and effective, but I stopped using them because I was consistently getting "microfiber burn" along my jawline where I stripped off too much skin. Embarassed Plus, I think that they harbor bacteria unless you are using a clean one every day.

Well, I like KarinHerzong Mild Scrub, because it contains spherical marble granules and is in a gentle moisturizing base. It doesn't have any scent. I like the entire, line in fact.

I'd second the Karin Herzog Mild Scrub, though I also tried the Cosmedicine Scrub tonight and have to say that I really liked it though I haven't heard anything good about the rest of the range.

I 2nd the ZO Skin Health exfoliating polish. This is really gentle, but really removes the flakes/dry skin well!

Sisley also got gentle yet effective exfoliant!

After usage you can feel clearly that the skin turns more soft and looks gradiant. I love this product of Sisley.

Astara has a nice gentle scrub - the Daily Refining Exfoliating Scrub. It's *super* fine, gentle and can be used daily. Exfoliates well and, as a bonus, has a light lemony scent Smile The only problem is that if you don't use it regularly (like me) it dries up in the cap and is then hard to squeeze out.
