I had this large age spot that seemed to appear out of nowhere and used glycolic acid toner in the morning, followed by a lotion with Kojic acid. Then in the evening I used my Ziana gel that has tretinoin (Retin A) in it. I did this religiously for 2-3 months and after almost giving up because I thought it wasn't working at all - it finally worked. The age spot has almost faded completely. I'm wondering how to maintain it though so it doesn't come back? Does anyone know? I don't usually use the Ziana tretinoin gel every night - I only used it every night on that spot. But I usually only used it every 3rd night. Can I get away with doing this still and it not coming back you think? And do you think I need to still use the Kojic acid lotion every day?

You could try to reduce usage of the Kojic acid and see what happens. I think it's good to use it regularly for prevention though. And don't forget...sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! Very Happy

I agree with jeanni. You could try to cut back and see if the spot remains gone. If not, you know how to make it go away again! I also 2nd jeanni with the sunscreen - very important!
