Hey all,

I've seen this term floating around - what does it mean exactly? What does it look like?

Thanks,

Jamie

It's like the skin has little ripples in it. Not exactly wrinkles but it's no longer smooth and people compare it to crepe paper.

Hi and welcome Smile

it looks like very thin, dried out skin, may be crinkled. It can remind of crepe paper.

Here's a link showing a sample of what "crepiness" can look like:

This is in no way a promotion of Thermage - it's just the first image I could find for you.

It's basically a slackening of the skin caused by a breakdown in collagen and associated support structures. Generally, it happens to us "old folks"... Laughing

Oh, man, after looking at that picture, I realize I have "crepiness". My hands look like the before hand! I guess that makes me an "old folk" now! Laughing

I should have taken pictures in June before mine cleared up with Remgergent DNA. Glad mine is gone. It was in my upper cheek area.

Just remember, being an "old folk" ain't so bad. (It gives me a great excuse to spend lots of money on beauty products! LOL)

And, "crepi-ness" is always preferable to "creepiness". Right, ladies? Very Happy

You are hilarious, taobunny. I agree, rather be crepy than creepy! Laughing
