My HG is YSL effect fake lash, it's selling for 27.50 at sephora, give it a try if you are looking for dramatic lashes
for a daily mascara I like Cover Girl's Volume Exact, no clump at all |

I have two favorites that I go back and forth between.
For black, I like Armani Maestro mascara. I like all three original colors for that matter, but especially 1 and 2, 2 being more charcoal.
For dark brown, and I do like dark brown for me as black is often too harsh, I love Chanel Inimatable. (sp?)
Both are great formulas that stay on me all day without smearing (much) and no flaking.
I have not had luck with drugstore mascaras since Max Faxtor dropped Comb-On mascara many years ago. |

I know that a lot of people here hated Clinique, but their mascara is incredible. The new defining mascara with a matte silver tube really defined my lashes, and the magic is, it's so convenient coz you only need slightly warm water to remove the mascara. No make up remover is needed. It never leave a black circle under my eye even after a long long day. |

My absolute favorite since many years is Lancome, but the mascara is the only thing I use from that brand. |

I used to really like Naturally Glossy Mascara. But the last two times I purchased it, the product seemed very dry and it did not go on as well as in the past. Either they changed the formula or it sits on the shelf far too long. Probably a formula tweak for something no longer thought safe. |

Diorshow works great for full lashes but it does dry out fast as mentioned.
Mavala has a great lengthening mascara but only in prune colour - oddly enough! The other colours do not lengthen as much. It gives really L-O-N-G lashes, not super full though. |

Have you tried "kiss me mascara"? It coats each lash... you know this is true because when you go to take it off the mascara literally comes off in tubes. I highly recomend this product !! |

i'm loving fasio mascara, drugstore brand. It's totally great, no smudge, lengthens and cheap! the only complain is that it's kind of tough to remove but my clinique take the day off eye and lip makeup remover does the job fine for me. |

my everyday staple is Clinique Naturally Glossy - very natural and full effect, you cant even tell you have mascara on
my going out fave used to be Diorshow, but I am getting to like Max Factor False Lash effect a lot - volume and thick black lashes
Other contenders were Max Factor Masterpiece .. |

We've had a few mascara threads - thought this was as good as any to revive.
I recently switched to Shiseido Perfect Mascara. It is very conditioning and comes off easily with regular eyemakeup remover, not the oily (waterproof) type. I'm not sure whether this one will be a keeper though
I had always been a Lancome mascara user, but have recently suspected that it may be the cause of some eyelash shedding. It is harder to get off, even with Lancome's waterproof eye makeup remover. Seeing as I am trying to get away from chemical-type eye lash serums (ie Rapid lash), I want to get a good mascara that is good for my lashes.
I've never been able to use the cheaper brands that you can buy in drug stores. There is something in them that makes my eyes itch. I'm assuming it must be more synthetic ingredients, because I don't have the same problem with the pricier lines.
I noticed that Sephora has Buxom Lash in their top sellers. Has anyone tried it?
I was thinking of trying the Lash Stash sampler. For $40 you get to try a number of different kinds. |

I have been on the hunt for a new mascara. I still like Shiseido's Perfect Mascara, but am not convinced it is my HG.
I just bought Georgio Armani's Eyes To Kill mascara in their new fall colour "blue grey night" http://www.giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com/_us/_en/makeup/eye/mascara/eyes-to-kill.htm
I really like it. I've been having to use eye drops for dry eyes lately and, while I didn't want a waterproof mascara, I also didn't want one that would run into my eyes every time I used my eye drops. This one comes off easily (don't need waterproof remover), but doesn't smudge through the day. My eye lashes looked really good and felt soft. I do think the Shiseido Perfect Mascara is more conditioning, but Armani's E2K lasts better without smudging. It also didn't feather when I was taking if off.
The only negative thing is its availability. In Ottawa, it is only available at Holt Renfrew ... at least that is the only place I could find it. |

I've used Lancome mascaras for years, but I don't find them as good as they used to be. Hypnose used to be my favourite. |

My favourite mascara is Guerlain. It stays on my lashes all day long, looks great and makes them look looooong It's quite pricey but definitely worth it! |

Lancome definicils gets my vote. Tried all kinds of mascara: Chanel, YSL, Maybelline XXL, Estee Lauder, etc., but they either clump or dry out really fast. |

I've never tried Guerlain. Is it a more natural looking mascara?
I like more volume ...prefer the false eyelash look, but I find that many of the mascaras that boast lots of volume also clump up on your lashes.
I haven't tried YSL mascara yet. I want to try it in the burgundy colour; it sounded fun and is supposed to make green eyes pop. We'll see. I ordered some from Sephora. |

Maybelline Full n'Soft, and just recently, I'm liking Prestige Big Lash (?, I think that's what its called).
If I want to splurge, its Diorshow or MUFE's Smokey Lash. |

Thanks Puglove !!
I've heard MUFE referred to a number of times, but have never seen the line. Where do you get it? |

Thanks for the link DM !!
I used Georgio Armani's Eyes to Kill mascara again today .. so far .. it looks like it may be a keeper !! I like the drama of lots of mascara, but my eyes don't like the clumpiness and flaky that usually accompanies that. I have to use lubricating eye drops REALLY often. The mascara is staying put - no smudges and it isn't flaking into my eyes. The blue grey colour is pretty; it is a softer look than black. I think it would be great for lighter-haired lashes. I don't know if I'd buy it again, because I like the darker look, but I like it enough to use it up.
I'm still on the hunt for a new eyemakeup remover, but so far Lancome's Bi-Facil and Marcelle's Sensitive Eyes makeup remover takes it off without problem. It doesn't flake when I remove it either ... HUGE plus for me. Flaking inevitably means mascara in my eyes. |

For the last few years the only mascara I've been able to use is Clinique's Naturally Glossy. Everything else I've tried either irritates my eyes too much or gives me a headache. While the Naturally Glossy is okay I'd like to find a mascara that is just as gentle but gives a bit more drama.
Does anyone have any suggestions? |

ZUZU makes a totally natural mascara that I love, and my eyes get really easily irritated. |
