I am looking for the full body wraps that have clothes and everything. Has anyone tried or ordered one online they liked? |

Are body wraps supposed to make you lose fat? I don't know if I believe that. |

They temporarily remove water from your body. I have done them at spas (Full body wrap) and you can lose a couple of inches at a time if done right. Now, it will come back if not careful, but they're great before a trip to the beach or something! |

I've had some body wraps done at the spa before (usually as part of someone's bridal shower - since I wouldn't normally choose it for myself)...
I think they're supposed to help you lose weight - but, from my understanding, it's all just temporary water weight loss - and the weight will just come right back when your body re-hydrates.
The skin is a pretty amazing organ - designed as an effective barrier between us and the environment. I don't think internal "toxins" can so easily make their way out past the skin barrier - and certainly most topical molecules are too large to make their way "in"... (Which is probably a good thing - as otherwise, we might not live very long!)
There are some home-made recipes which seem fairly harmless if you want to try to make a wrap for yourself at home:

I've had body wraps done in a spa, and I like the experience, but since we've moved, and I don't know where to get them done now, I tried doing it at home, and it was a huge mess, not comfortable at all, and I hated cleaning up afterwards, which pretty much erased the feeling of serenity. I think having them done by someone else is a part of what makes it feel luxurious. |
