I did a search but was not able to find any actual reviews for this.
So...has anyone been using this? What do you think? If this replaced another antiox serum you were using, what was it and can you tell me why you like the CF better?
thanks! |

I still prefer the CE Ferrulic. I think my skin like the vitamin E. I used to apply the Body Shop vitamin E face cream when I was much younger. |

I definitely prefer the C, E, Ferulic. Did not like the Phloretin at all, and did not feel it did anything. It was also drying to me, and I have normal skin. It is supposed to be great for oily skinned people, from what I read on Futurederm.com. |

I have only been using SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic, but based on the ingredients list I cannot see a good reason for switching to the Phloretin serum. SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF contains only 10 per cent vitamin C, whereas CE Ferulic contains 15 per cent in addition to vitamin E. SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF is apparently recommended for oily skin types. |

Check out the reviews on makeupalley. Not a lot of reviews yet, but over all the reviews are positive. |

I absolutely LOVE this stuff!
My skin does not like topical Vitamin E, and the CE Ferulic always felt sticky and greasy to me. So I have used only the SkinCeuticals AOX in the past, usually the 15%.
My skin is actually a bit oilier post-menopause, so the slight drying effect of the Phloretin is a good thing for me.
I get no irritation from it (because of lower Vit C level maybe?). My skin is more smooth and more clear than with the AOX.
I also notice this has not oxidized as fast as the straight Vitamin C. Mine is not getting more golden as the weeks pass. It is staying rather clear. Again, this might be from a lower concentration of Vitaman C? Phloretin has 10% vitamin C. I wonder why they did not make it 15% like the CE Ferulic. |

I am using it. Maybe it is because it had just happened to be introduced when I first started using SkinCeuticals.
I also have very oily skin at age 55. I love this product. All of my brown spots (age/sun are gone) I started using it in June. I buy the small vials on Ebay to keep stable. In the a.m. this is all I wear for skin care except for a moisturizer with an spf. |

I did eventually try this. My skin couldn't handle the alcohol content in it. I suspected it would be a problem for me but wanted to try it anyway. |

I have this, but can find it drying. I like to alternate this with the CE Ferulic in the Skinceuticals line.
If I had to pick just one I would go with the CE Ferulic. |

I also bought the small vials off ebay. I've only been using for a couple of weeks so too soon to tell what results. I added this into my Obagi routine.
I specifically bought this b/c I'm battling oily skin, though the Obagi/Tazorac/oral antibiotic/bha acid have normalized it !
At this point in life, I honestly think that vitamin c, retin a, and s/s should be the foundation of any skin care regimen. All that stuff that smells pretty, comes in fancy bottles, etc isn't worth it. |

I used it for about 4 months and it did nothing for my dry skin so I went back to the Skinceuticals CE ferulic. I had a new one ounce bottle left and my husband started using it. He has oily skin and oh my, did it change his skin!! His pores are much smaller and it lightened some brown spots. he continues to use it. |

I have used SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic last year, and it was good for my oily skin. |

Wow, apparently everyone on this board has oily skin.
I am thinking about buying this product after I heard great things about it from the Skin Ceuticals rep today at an open house.
I couldn't stand the CE Feurlic. Not great with my very oily skin.
It'd be nice if the Phloretin dries it out!!!
I'm thinking this may be the best serum for me to try? I want to get rid of spots wihout the serum being oily.
How long does it take to get results? Any breakouts with using the product? |

I just got a sample of this liquid? serum in a small vial when I bought a "beauty cache" from SkincareRX website!
It is one of the samples they are including along with a bag full of random anti-aging,skincare, whatever samples!
I got 2 of the last sampler bag they had and was quite happy!
(one was for a gift for my sister)!
So, if you are looking for an affordable way to try Ferrulic or other serums! |

I've thought about this for a few days and this is going to be my next skin care purchase.
I am surprised by the great reviews. What has sold me is the fact that this serum provides 8X the protection of sunscreen. I used the CE Ferulic, which I couldn't stand, however it lasted forever! 10 months and the bottle had at least 1/4 left (and I even spilled it!).
Another bonus is that most people think it's too drying! Between this and EltaMD, I should have normal skin this summer!
It's that time to tweak my routine. I hope it works! |

Hey there!
What moisturizer with spf are you using with your oily skin? |

I use Minus-Sol SPF 30+++ sunscreen. It doesn't have a moisturizer. I've tried them (even oil-free ones) and moisturizer is something my skin does NOT need!!! I do however take 50 mg of Hylarounic Acid. |
