I am currently moving into a salon which has two parts: a nice spa side and a really nice hairdressing side. From what I understand, the spa side mainly gets nails but not a ton of facials/body treatments. This salon is gorgeous and the environment is really nice, it just needs some work and someone willing to take the steps needed to get more clients interested in skin care. AND keep them coming consistently
What are some ways to bring more to the skin care aspect of the spa side? |

Perhaps a little less gorgeous, will allow the prices to be a little more affordable... Affordability is what will get and hold clients on a *regular* basis, and not necessarily the scented candles, fancy environment and Bose' wafting throughout ... Just a thought!
With that said I must also divulge, that I was in a spa once in my life because I was called there to treat a patient.... Personally, I can't afford the Palm Beach Spa's I'm surrounded with...    (I prefer the 5 day cruise I could take for the same price as a day at the spa..  |

It might help to offer free facials or analysis. Or a free mini-make up application showing your talent.With the Holidays so close a stress relieving day at the Spa or gift certificate might help. Your passion will be felt by others,just be yourself .
