I have been alternating Avene's Eluage and Diacneal as my OTC retinoids of choice for a couple of years now. Sadly, neither is available in the US, so it's order online or pick up abroad. Here's the thing that is really bugging me: Online it's about 50 dollars, but anywhere abroad I can get it for under 20 (in equivalent currency.) In the last 2 years I've gotten it in Germany, Croatia, and Hong Kong--all at around the 20 dollar price point.
So what gives with the online pricing? I'm feeling gouged...but this seems like the price point for several online retailers.  |

Diacneal is the cheapest of all Avene retinoids, it costs appr. 11-12 Euro here (Germany).
but I`m still not happy  - I`d like to use Retrinal 0.1% - the strength the same as in Diacneal, but without glycolic acid, can`t understand why is it for US market only??? it`s not sold in Europe
however Retrinal is expensive, it costs around 50 USD, it seems that Avene products get to a higher market segment when sold in USA  |
