I have olive skin tone and i am developing laugh lines, along with the lines, i see a shadow on and along the laugh lines. Even if i strech the laugh lines skin with my fingers to remove the lines the shadow stays. I use a good sun block and i need suggestions to buy a product that helps in ligtening the shadow.
I tried the glyquuin cream (4%) for 4-5 months and did not notice any change. Would love to hear what you suggest.
Thankyou |

Oh no, I just bought Glyquin oh well I need to use it now. I have been reading posts on other boards that gals are trying Tri-Luma but you need a prescription from a doctor I believe. |

I'm not sure about the PTR but there have been reviews of the Phyto+ on here before. You should be able to find them with the search function. Also, I think MUA has some reviews of the Phyto+ as well. |

I´m using the sc phyto+ in the a.m. (started for about 4 month ago) and ptr power k in the p.m. (started for about a month ago) I´m getting good results with the Power k and I´m very exited to se what a long term usage of this ´product will bring along. The phyto+ is a painfully slow brightener, but it is working and I will use this product for a extended period of time before I will say anything else about this product. |

Do you use any C serums in your routine? Or retinoids? I have had best success lightening hyperpigmentation by using Retin-A at night and Vitamin C serum each AM. (Along with daily sunscreen use...) Using lighteners such as hydroquinone with the Retin-A did not work very well, nor did drugstore items like Porcelana. The C helped tremendously. I have also heard that TCA peels are very good for removing sunspots if you want to go the peel route. |

I will definately update you with whatever product i end up getting with.
I do use the celler Firming C. I have not used the Retin A yet however. Maybe i should try it. I have tried microdermabrasion and it helps but not as much as i would like to see the change. Any peels that your guys tried and liked?
The pigmentation is more like a greenish/blueish kinda shadow on the laugh lines. Its so annoying to see them and makes me feel really frustrated.
I called SC and they recomanded that i get the Dermalogica's skin brighting system. I wonder if anyone of you has used it (its microfoliant and day and night bright creme). |

Sats, I´m just using the Power K (white container with yellowish cream in) in the p.m. and it is drying (even for my oily/combo skin) but before I put this cream on, I do apply a thick coat of the Old Lady Cream (no kidding, it is the name of the cream ) from the Sage Skin Care. Here is my current working regime for acne and PIH.
A.M.
Dermalogica Micro-foliant
Facial shampoo
Vivier C20
B5 gel
Eye and lip balm (from sage) over the face.
Phyto +
Dermalogica Active Moist
PhytoDerm spf100 fluid
P.M.
Derma Micro-f.
F.shampoo
MSSR 2% salicylic acid (every 2. or 3. day)
B5 gel
eye and lip balm
Old lady Cream
PTR Power K |
