As titled! I find that my eye bags and the nasal folds are more prominent when looked at sideways rather than up front. Anyone think so? I don't think a specific makeup application can help with that? Embarassed

I definitely agree with this. Shadows caused by the light direction can certainly help to highlight and exaggerate their appearance.

I notice this too. I think when we look at ourselves in the mirror, we definitely get the best view..

So do u ladies actually try to apply makeup from the sideways point of view? For example, apply concealer to undereyes in a way that u can't see the slightest bags or circles sideways? Very Happy I know I sound a bit extreme. But I can't help getting frustrated to see myself look fine up front in the mirror and then when I turned sideways, the flaws are there! Embarassed

I also think it is the lighting. Some kind of shadows are falling on your face when you look at it from the side.
I think the key is to apply make up/foundation evenly and stay out of harsh lighting Cool

Lighting the face from the side is supposed to be the least flattering. I guess if you look sideways the light is hitting the side of your face if you have your back to a window Neutral
