OK so looks like new ageless is one week away from being released!!

----- Forwarded Message ----
From: Louise & Anne <support@theagelessmethod.com>
Subject: Ageless returns - news of 30 Days

Wow, it’s a long time since we last emailed you! Thanks for staying with us!

(And welcome to all the people who’ve newly arrived in the meantime - we’re really pleased you’re here!)

You may remember we signed off in May for a while so we could concentrate on completing Louise’s fantastic new programme...?

Well... trumpet fanfare noises... TA-DAH!

We’re delighted to say that it’s ready for you!

The Ageless 30 Days Programme has all been written and prepared and tested... which was a huge job!

Now, we’re just putting the finishing touches to the downloads... tweaking the website... and polishing the internet...

Because we want you to be thrilled and delighted...

And we’ll go live in a week, we promise!

(OK, it’s true that Anne has her fingers and toes crossed - it’s her job to make sure it all works, and let’s face it, it hardly ever works first time.)

In the meantime, we wanted to remind you why you care about Ageless... It’s because:

This system has been known to make women look as much as 10 years younger...

It makes them feel fabulous

– and best of all it requires no surgery and no injections!

HOORAY!

(Oh, and it works on men too!)

Now some of you have seen this video, but people have asked to see it again, and anyway, we’re very proud of it:

Click here to watch our short video, The Truth About Ageing.

This is the video where Louise, the creator of the revolutionary Ageless Method, explains why the current beliefs about skin, ageing and the face are making women old before their time.

You can learn more, and see 47-year old Louise Annette ‘warts and all’ in broad daylight!

Hugs,

Louise and Anne The Ageless Team

P.S. Keep your eyes on your inbox, because later this week we’ll be sending you more videos containing the most advanced thinking available about how to look younger.

P.P.S. If you’re already an Ageless Facialista, watch out for an update on Loulou’s famous Crush exercise - coming to your inbox later today! (with any luck)

I've got Ageless, book and DVD. When I saw that clip, I thought, surely that exercise is a joke? but, hey, if it works.. Laughing (does farty noises)..

Is this 2nd edition a new set of exercises? Would be good to see alternate exercises for each area to mix things up and keep muscles guessing, like with FlexEffect.

I do Ageless reasonably regularly. I also think Lou's interpretation of massage is somewhat lacking, what with Tanaka being out there and FE highlighting how important it is, and their cross-stretching discipline.

For what it's worth, I think it's a pretty wonderful achievement that Lou at least came up with her own exercises, no derivative stuff happening there.

As for being erratic with customers..I got the feeling maybe Lou hasn't been well. Hopefully things can get back on track. The CS fiasco not so long ago was shocking, so it may put some off ordering. If theres new stuff on offer I'd be interested, but cautious, until others have received theirs (bad, I know).

Still think the agelessmethod website looks tacky and spammy, however.

There is another clip where she is demoing two exercises from the new stuff. I think she says there are 9 exercises in total in the new bits so thast good, it means it will be short and sweet.

I don't know if she's changed everything or what, and the details aren't yet available, but I agree with you it'd be good if she did do something like that. I'm sure she will.

I suppose you got to give Lou the benefit of doubt. It wasn't until we all started asking her about massage that she included it in Ageless, and suppose its a bit outside the scope of things (can't remember if she said she did it when she did Flexeffect or not), but I'm sure that too will have updated. With tanaka though its been around for ages, and the woman is qualified in many different forms of stuff so its not a fair comparison in my mind, but I don't see why it has to be one or the other, they both go together in my view.

I agree with you re the cs, but I doubt we'll ever get answers to the absence or anything. I even mailed them but you know what I won't hold my breath for an answer.

Actually, I'm a bit worried. I've done Ageless on and off for a couple of years, and used to use the photobucket video, here:

http://s378.photobucket.com/albums/oo228/LouiseAnnette/

I thought she looked great, and believe this is 'pre-nose' job!

I find the latest video-letters show her to look bloated in the face and not as well defined as the earlier video's. I think she has probably just put on weight, but, even so - I am slightly discouraged by her overall appearance (although she is always a pretty woman) and it makes me question continuing Ageless.

Sorry if I am going to tread on toes by posting this - but I think it's important that everyone is allowed (courteously!) to be honest about what they see. I'm not quite happy with what I see on the video's.

What do other people think about her latest appearances? Would like to be reassured Smile

I don't think the videos are pre-nose jobs but after nose jobs as she had the nose job done when she was a trainer at FlexEffect did she (along with the lower tear trough filler thingy).

I do think her face looks somewhat puffy too though and did wonder what thats about.

Also the latest video doesn't show anything new to me, just looks like repeats of the older ones.

No, this video is several years old. It's pre-nose job (she had the nose done a couple of years ago: it was mentioned on her other forum).

Here she is, pre-nose:

Anyway, I am still concerned and wonder if my eyes are playing tricks when I see the latest video clips of her face. I'm talking about the modified crush and a couple of other new ones. Do people want links? Her face looks swollen and odd to me, and I'm not sure what to think.

Here is one new video, in which I think she looks strange:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vq2l706TGZc

Honestly, is it just me? It doesn't really make me want to go on with the exercises. Yes, as with an earlier poster, I wonder if she has been unwell.

That said, I think she comes across as a really nice person.

I remember that video (it was prior to the dvd) but can't find any mention of her having her nose done after it - which isn't good. Is this on the Ageless forum? I've just hunted and can't see it.

I do think her face looks a bit puffy but not sure that you can get that from doing her exercises. Think its more likely to do with something else like health or foods perhaps. But I've done Ageless and facial exercises for years so know it won't do that to your face. So don't give up the exercises, as I found out one time someone got high cheeks from doing a large number of a particular exercise and I wanted them, and so copied her and it never had the same effects for me that it did for her. Guess we're all different and exercises effect us all differently so don't worry.

Lou has always been very open and honest about what she has and hasn't had done. Here you go - the debate! She answers on page 2 which I have linked for you:

Thank you so much for that. Made me giggle when I was reading it and saw Trigger's messages there. I got a notification that they're selling the live thing tomorrow at 11am UK time. Should be good fun!

This is from the Louise Annette forum today:

"Hi, I'm Andrea, I'm working on the technical/business angle with Anne and Chris. I just created an account so I could say that the cost of the package is going to be £137, which is about $222.

It takes into account the money loulou spent on filming, design services, paying people like me (!)'and the hours and hours she and Anne devoted to getting it all together.

They do both say, though, that anyone who has already purchased the original ageless book and/or DVD has everything they need. The new stuff doesn't have anything crucial in it, it has fresh insights, a very hands-on explanation of what is required every day, and some equally prescriptive and step-by-step advice for people who want to be tough on their trouble spots.

HTH,

Andrea"

Whaaaaa! £137 for the same program, with a few added insights?! The original book was about a tenth of that price. The DVD was around £15 or so, if I remember right.

At least they're honest enough to let us know that those who have the original Ageless DVD/book won't learn anything new.

I know I haven't posted for ages, either here or on my own board, partly because family issues have been very demanding of my time and energy

The other reason I don't post is because of what people say about my face! Obviously, I have to show it, It's just so upsetting when somebody like Trigger says I look fake. This is my face... It's so hurtful when people say negative things about my face. On both boards there were some lovely posts, and I treasure them, but if I got a disparaging one it made me very anxious. I'm sure most of the people on this forum would find it distressing too. I just didn't want to feel like that, so I kept away from the forums. As I say, I know my face is part of my business. I didn't want to see what has been said about me. so I never even looked at the forums. My apologies to the lovely people there, who didn't get an explanation.

When I came back I have to come clean and say that Anne wrote the post for me. I still didn't want to look, especially as I had a guilty feeling about you all.
..
I should add that it was never my intention to start a business with Ageless. I was happy to sell the book had no plans to move on. However, lots of
really nice people asked if I could do a DVD, so I did, and sold it through the Lulu (no relation) website. They messed everything up! The DVD they sent out would only play on a computer, and they were impossible to contact at that time. So I ordered some DVDs and sent them out to replace the dud ones. Suddenly, I have a business, because all future DVDs needed to be sold that way.

As many of you know, I was useless at distribution, and when Anne suggested we join forces I was very happy to do it.

I'd like to answer some of the other questions:

I've had no facial surgery, except I had a nose-and-septum procedure, and some fillers (including a semi-permanent one in my tear troughs several years ago). I've never has lasers. I had Botox a couple of times, but it was years ago, and now I've found an alterrnative method of smoothing out the forehead, so no plans to have it ever again.

My face does look odd in the videos, but this is simply because the camera had no zoom, and filming close to the camera distorts the face significantly. We used it because it's high definition. Oddly enough I sent out a newsletter late last year which explained why you don't look your best in most photos, and how to improve matters. I had put on weight when the video was made, but it didn't make much difference to my face, it mainly affected my legs and bum!

About the price: Actually, I gave Andrea the wrong information-- the package is $136, not £136. I know people will find it expensive, but there are 3 books and 2 dvds. with lots of good stuff in there. My partner Anne felt that was a realistic price to set. I'm a bit concerned that people think that because I set such a low price for it in the past, that's all the book and DVD are worth. I think they are worth a lot more than that! And really, we could have let lots of people buy our package unnecessarily if we hadn't emphasised that the original programme was still at the heart of the package. As you say, it's a big price hike, but I wish you would rejoice about how little you paid for the original.

There is a great deal of new materiaL in the package. We are just saying that people who are already doing the Ageless Day 1/ Day 2 programme don't need the new package (although some may want it)

Hugs,

Loulou

Wasn't the original booklet $10.00? Ridiculous price increase if you ask me - for what? The videos and promotional material still come across as being very amateurish.

Personally, I think Loulou looks great in the videos--a bit fuller in face, but her skin is still smooth and firm and, I think, a great advertisement for her program.

My question is, what's up with the 5-day only offer? These are digital downloads--no one has to pack and ship anything so why put a time limit on it?

And, I have to agree that the price increase is fairly steep. Again, these are digital downloads, not books/DVDs and the price should reflect the fact that there are no/little duplication or distribution costs.

Anyway ...glad to see that Loulou is back.

It's seems like a home shopping network sales tactic. You see the countdown clock and you feel pressured to order. If you don't buy it now, you'll never get another chance. Smile

I think Loulou looks very nice, her face is firm and flawless. I own the first edition book and DVD and I guess she is just very nervous on the DVD and youtube videos. This can change the way you look - it does it to me. This is how she comes accross to me.

Oh Loulou – good to see youre back and all is well.

Sorry to hear of your family issues. I had issues with the absence and no excuse but that’s all I think people needed/wanted. Just to know that there was other things going on. Ignore Trigger.

I can’t afford the new stuff just yet, need to save some cash but hope I’ll still be able to purchase later on. However I think the two books, the two dvds etc are probably all very worth it. The only thing I would ask is that is there proper support available to the users of the new stuff?

Hi there, I would love to know if anyone buying the new program, could report to us if there are significant pluses to the program to make the cost seem worthwhile.

Thanks

When Lou herself is saying

"...people who are already doing the Ageless Day 1/ Day 2 programme don't need the new package (although some may want it)"

why would you spend that kind of money. You get books and dvds, but I wonder how much actual content there is, and the quality thereof. If the youtube video is a showcase example, it is hard to justify that cost.
