Hi Everyone!
So money's tight with Christmas coming up and I'm conveniently running out of most of my daily routine so I'm trying to figure out how to cut back on my expenses and make substitutions.
I started using Juice Beauty's Blemish Clearing Serum last summer and even though I don't have acne, it's helped me a lot! I wear makeup almost everyday (MMU and tinted moisturizer) and it's helped my skin stay clear of the occasional pimple. Before discovering the serum, I used to almost always have at least 2 pimples at a time, sometimes more and mainly on my forehead or chin. I had a break in between bottles over the summer and I did notice what a difference it had made.
Are there any cheaper alternatives to this stuff? I use cleansing milks because my skin is sensitive and tends to dry out easily. I've found this serum to work much better than using cleansers that are supposed to control breakouts. It's gentle enough for me to use everyday and I think it's a really low dose of salicylic acid.
Any recommendations would help! I've also considered trying Philosophy's acne care line since I have a gift certificate for a store that carries it but it's been years since I've used that brand. I searched and have not found a good comparison of both lines. As best as I can tell not too many people were thrilled with the Philosophy kit.
Thanks in advance and Happy (Early) Holidays! |
