Hello, this is my first post, probably a basic question, but being a guy, i am not the most expierenced with taking care of my skin. My girlfriend mentioned that i always have a red complexion, mostly my cheeks, and that bothered me. Also, my forehead is really oily, like those clean-and-clear oil wips, i can turn completly clear, which is disquesting. What can i do about these problems? |

Sorry to hear about your skincare woes. However, some minor skincare regime adjustments are all you're needing!
Cleanse
Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser or Dr. Renaud Japanese Camphor Cleansing Milk.
[url]Oil Control
Decleor Aromaessence Ylang-Ylang Oil followed by Decleor Men's SOS Keep-Control Shining Gel, Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion, Phytomer Men's Oligo Pur Anti-Shine Gel, or Dr. Renaud Intervention Age-Defying Fluid.
You may want to continue to use blotting papers occasionally, but having a good, oil-controlling cleanser and moisturizer ought to help reduce the need for these!
As far as redness goes, some people naturally have flushed cheeks; this can be hereditary, due to allergies, or rosacea. Does this only occur when you're over-heated, or have used a skincare product that has been irritating to your skin?

Hello and welcome. Ok, here is my opinion... I went to to a dermatologist not too long ago, for what sounds like similiar issues. The prescribed "miracle" for me is a product called Finacea. It is an azelaic acid based product (a "natural" ingredient to combat red discolorations...)that was made especially for people with rosacea. It also works great with controlling oil and bacteria.
If you can't make it to a dermatologist, I would recommend going over to the Sephora store and checking out the Murad line of products - and/or checking out the products that Caspers Mum recommended- they all sound really good too.
Good luck. |

In terms of controlling oil I think Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion would be a very good choice. I just turned one of my friends onto it and he loves it! |
