You really need to go see a dermatologist who will be able to see you, and give you a plan of action. Can I ask you, what is your skin tone? are you dark or fair skinned? Hang in there, it will get better. |

| In order to make the blue spots go away you must go to a dermatologist. Usually they would give you chemical peels and topical steroids. But do not do this on your own please! What you are experiencing is a side effect that some dark skin people get when they have a reaction to hydroquinone after using it for a while/or using a high concentration. So please talk to your doctor. All the best! |

kaykay, how long have you used the 4% HQ? There is a condition called exogenous ochronosis. But, this usually happens after long term use of HQ in dark skin.
"Exogenous ochronosis is a cutaneous disorder characterized by blue-black or slate-gray hyperpigmentation resulting from the prolonged use of certain topical agents, most commonly hydroquinones." |

And usually much higher percentages than 4%.
You will definitely need to see a dermatologist for professional assistance, but it CAN be successfully treated!! |
