I have Decleor Experience L'age light cream that I have attempted to use like 3 times already and I always breaks out. This is the professional 3.3 size.
What do i do with it now?

Donate to a women's shelter? You could try to sell it on ebay, but I am not sure how many people want to buy a used product! Or, you could use it on your body! |

You could swap it on Make up Alley. I just swapped my DHC Deep Cleansing Oil which did not suit my skin for some Benefit benetint blush. Always worth a try - someone may be looking for it. |

Do you have a friend or co-worker that might like to try it? I've passed along a few things like that to one of my co-workers who is about my age and starting to fret about her skin.
(Initially she teased me about my 'lotions and potions,' but not so much these days. She's even thinking about an LED!!) |

Anything that doesn't work on my face gets reassigned to my neck and chest! |

I guess maybe it is not suitable for your skin.
You may change another product which is more appropriate.
Someone told me ever before:which is suitable to you, which is best for you. |

You can use it as the neck cream or as the hand cream. If your friends are interested in it, it is the chance they can try. |

I would love to say that I return expensive products that don't work - but I just don't. Too much hassle - and I hate dealing with snooty salespeople. (They're just fine if you want to buy - but try to return, and it's another story...) *sigh*
My most recent - biggest waste of money was this Chanel face cream that cost over $250 - and did squat and stung my face. I won't ever get suckered into Chanel face treatments again. Makeup, they're great. Facial stuff - not so much.
I think it's going to be a *really* expensive body moisturizer now. |

Reading the ingredients list on the label is the best thing you can do to avoid buying a "high priced" item that turns out to be non-functional....especially in the case of creams and lotions that are water based.
If you see "Water" listed as the first ingredient, this usually means that the loading of water in that product is approximately 50%, 60% or even as high as 70%.
Now, water is usually figured into the cost analysis of a cosmetic product at $0.01 per kilogram. That's one cent per kilogram weight of water.
Let's say you buy a 3.5 ounce jar of a water based cream or lotion. That is the equivalent of a tenth of a kilo.... 0.1 kilograms. If the cream or lotion contains, let's say, 60% water, then the total cost of the water in that product is $0.0006 !!! If the product you bought costs $50.00 for the 3.5 ounce jar, then do you really believe the remaining 40% of the raw materials costs $49.9994 ? That would mean that the raw material base price of those materials would be $1,250.00 per kilo! That rarely if ever happens. Typical raw material prices range from $2.00 to $150.00 per kilo. The highest raw material I'm aware of is one that I currently use in one of my products, and it is $4,000 per kilo and I load it at 3% in the formula. This only costs $120.00 in a one kilo batch, or essentially $10.00 in the 3 ounce jar.
Bottom line is this, if you see a water based cream or lotion with a price of $50, $100, $200, or even more per ounce of product, an immediate red flag should be raised. I'm not criticizing the efficacy or function of the product....it may work, but the price is totally outrageous based on cost of materials. And, if it DOESN'T work, then that is truly a rip off.
Before you buy, do your research with "price per function" as your main research goal. Then:

If I was in the US, I would definately go return it. Unfortunately, we cant return things like skincare in the UK, so I would usually sell it on Ebay if the product is quite new and used once or twice. If I've used over half of it already, as others have suggested I would use it on my body, hands, feet, neck, anywhere but my face Or I would give it to my mum to use |

Hi Malishka!
Did you find out that this was what was giving you the red rash on your forehead? If you cannot return it to the place you bought it, I would contact Decleor directly and explain to them what happened, attaching the picture of your rash. Maybe they can help you or suggest a product better for you. It's worth a try....that stuff is not cheap!
Your daughter is so pretty, and so are you! |

I would use it once and voila pimple. Try again same stuff.
I can not return it, i ordered in online and it was not recent. I didnt use this when i was pregnant. I had it for atleast 4 months.
Mother- will not sure.
nO sister
and no friends here or that would be appreciative of the item. It is over 100 bucks, i dont want to hand it over to someone that doesnt even wash their face.
I will try make up alley.
I have more than 3/4 of the product left. |

I have a small box that I keep all the creams and lotions that don't agree with my face, or I've bought ahead and then switched products before I used them up. I use them up on my neck, hands and feet. I also have a sister and usually once a year I go through my whole bathroom and give her the unopened and used once products that I think she may use. |
