I am actually a liquid soap kind of gal but I discovered Ice Element's new line, Scentsational Journeys Aromatherapy Soaps and I am absolutely hooked on these! These handcrafted soaps are made with aloe vera, Vit. E and essential oils and provide a true aromatherapy experience while bathing. I don't mean that they just scent your skin lightly...I mean that my entire shower is filled with the scent I am using! It really is a lovely and unusual experience! I buy alot of bath products (usually from Beach Girl Beauty) but have never experienced such intense fragrance from a soap. They lather up really, really well and rinse cleanly. I don't like coatings left on me when I shower! I haven't found the scents to interfere with any scented lotions, etc, that I apply after bathing.
I started with the Thai Lemongrass and it is really invigorating. I just received an order of 15 more soaps that I am giving out as gifts (if, and that is a big IF, I can part with them  ). My favorites so far are the Bright Snowy Nights, Creme Brulee, Lavender Breeze, Thai Lemongrass and Plumeria.
The best part is that they are HUGE bars of soap and only cost $6.95. Two of them would make a substantial and very appreciated gift for a lucky person. I will provide the link at the bottom of this post so you can see how beautiful the soaps are...check out the little "things" that stick out of some of them. Makes them really interesting!
If you haven't ordered from IE before, you are in for a treat. One of the owners, Frankie, is the speediest shipper I have ever encountered. I ordered the 15 on Friday and they arrived at my house today, Monday, with a personalized note. (I ordered somethings from Beach Girl Beauty on Nov. 26th and just got the notice they they finally shipped today, 12 days later!.  What the heck???)
Anyway, I just wanted to share my find, especially with the holidays approaching quickly. With the economy the way that it is, I have needed to be more creative and budget-minded in my gift shopping; these soaps are making my life a whole lot easier!

Wow what a great find! I browsed the link and the soaps really do look yummy. So beautifully crafted. I'm definitely buying some for my close gals. I was about to get some soaps from the Best Bath Store [which btw has a nice offer of FREE samples if you'd like but + s&h fee, they're a pretty natural brand] but now I'm stuck trying to figure out which I should buy. Heck I'll jst get both =]
