| Has anyone tried Victoria Principals new line of skin care? It sounded good on the infomercial, and I wonder if I should try it. |

I dont't think Principal's skincare line has the % of Argireline that the more popular products on this forum have. If you are looking at the antiaging line, it should have 10% Argireline in it.
Personally I don't think a lot of these products have the percentages of ingredients that would make a difference. |

| I've tried it and while it's not an overnight miracle product, I've noticed improvement in my neck and corners of my eyes. I've tried some other products with different formulations of the argiraline (sp?) and have gotten a rash. I haven't gotten one from this one. |

Agree! How old is she? I think mid fifties....Don't care what skincare product you use, there is no way your skin could be that tight without plastic surgery.
Do these stars that have their own line use them? Perhaps, but I doubt it. |

Married to a plastic surgeon.....wouldn't that be the life? I love Mr. Phredd, but I'm pretty sure I'd love him just as much if he were a PS.
I wonder if he hocks her products in his practice?

I am sure I could cope with being married to a PS as well. As I have been married forever I am sure Mr Loopy wouldn't mind if I went for a bit on the side. He would save a fortune. Hmmmm. Where do surgeons hang out these days

Yup, I totally agree. If you look at Victoria Principal's pictures now as opposed to when she was on Dallas, you'll notice that her eyes are a quite a bit "tighter" now than they were decades ago! So while she boldly announces on her infomercials that she hasn't had a face lift, she doesn't deny having plastic surgery in general. My guess is an eye lift, neck lift and perhaps botox and laser resurfacing.
I usually go by the before and after pictures and the testimonials. One thing with her products is that she has a very loyal client base who look pretty good. I also appreciated that she started the line with Aida Thibiant who has a great reputation and spa in Beverly Hills. |

Agree. I know she's married to a plastic surgeon. Both of them have had work done; their faces are so tight! Also, note the lighting used on Victoria during her infomercials: soft, filtered, and diffusing. She has a good DP working on the commercial shoot. Lighting works in wonderful ways. Some other examples of soft lighting on celebs: Judith Light (Proactive), Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer, Cybil Sheppard when on "Moonlighting" (hard shot of Bruce Willis, flip to soft shot of Cybil).  Yellow, diffused light ... awesome. That's why we all look gorgeous in candlelight.
Back to Victoria Principal: though Andy Gibb once sang "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" for her, it is doubtful that Vicki's skincare can be your everything in a bottle : |

i have been using Victoria's principal for about a months now, it is not one of the best but it is good for mostrizing my skin. The only thing i would really recomend is their cleanser, i love it. i bought it in addition to Relaxaline which i have been usingfor few months,i also use vit C, and epidermx.
By the way, i called victoria pricipal customer service and asked whether it is 10% angeline...they had no idea..lol |

Re: PS skin care, for my .02 cents worth, I wasn't that impressed overall with the PS line but absolutely LOVE the toning masque. I use it as a moisturizer (you can put it on extra-thick as a mask or a lighter layer for moisturizing) when my skin is extra-dry.
You can buy it on QVC (http://www.qvc.com item number A8183 for $19.95) and I've also purchased it on e-Bay. Hope this helps! |
