Hi, I'm 25 and my eyelids sag a bit already....but no where near looking into eyelid surgery...does anyone know of any products that can tighten the skin on eyelid even if the results are temporary?
Thanks for your help! |

I agree with Mpstat...I just started on 11/8, and have already seen significant improvement in lifting my upper lids.
I just posted an free eye exercise on the 2nd thread that Mpstat mentioned above. |

ok, thanks for the recommendations guys...I had no idea there were facial exercises that could affect the eyelid area, interesting.
Any other ideas are welcome too...maybe I'll combine exercises with some topical treatment if there is one out there for synergistic effects.
I thought I knew a decent amount about skincare before I found this forum |

I am using the Baby Quasar LED, and believe I see a tightening of the skin in the outer eye area. I am also doing the facial exercises that Bethany and MpStat recommend. Many people say they have seen the skin tighten after using LEDs like the BQ or LightStim. IS Clinical Youth Serum is effective for making the skin appear more taut. I've been using it for about ten days and I'm most impressed. |

OMG! That quasar thing is pricey...has it been worth the money for you?
oh man...I think this might be an expensive endeavor. |

Hi Mex, I really am noticing more firmness in my skin lately. It wasn't saggy to begin with but it is feeling and looking more taut than before. I can't say if it's the BQ or the Face exercises (which I started only about two weeks ago) or the combination of the two. All I know is that I am very impressed. The LightStim is less expensive than the BQ and, some feel, better. It takes a while though to see results. |

Does anyone know the difference between a LightStim and Baby Quasar? Antonia, why did you pick the Quasar over the LightStim...just wondering...as if I'll ever have enough money to buy one or the other |

Mex, there are an abundance of LED threads over on the Skin Tools forum..that is also the best place to ask any LED questions.
Here is a thread to get you started:
How do I decide on a LED device?

Hi Mex, if you go to the forum that discusses tools, you will see long threads on the BQ and the LightStim. I would have bought the Lightstim had I read Kassy's raves about it. There is nothing wrong with the BQ, but it has a smaller head and seems to take forever. The LightStim utilizes amber light as well as red and K. seems to think this has worked better for her. BQ says their light has the same effect as the amber though and so I'd say it's either/or if you have the time to spend with it. |

I agree with everyone: facial exercises will give you results that you can see soon and the effect is long-lasting - as long as you keep up with the exercises!
Some of the "tightening" serums could help in the short run. Anything that says lifting or tightening, but be careful that it can be used around the eyes! PerfectComplexion.net used to make HA Soy Lift that really worked, but it's not available there anymore....so sad cuz it really did work. |

simran, I was doing FlexEffect exercises since late Aug. I saw results in the eye area within a month I believe. Now I do the Ageless exercises every other day. (I do both Day 1 and Day 2 on the same day, then skip a day.) As everyone else says, the eye area is the first to respond to exercise. Get started! You will be so happy and delighted with the results! I think this would work also for young ppl to maintain tone in the muscles and forestall aging..but it's never too late! |

I know this is a temporary fix but my sister just bought these for her droopy eye lids.
www.eyemagic.net
She has yet to use them, but they are little strips you put in your eye crease and that are supposed to give a lift to your lid. They have a video on the web site that shows a woman putting these on and they do really make a difference!
But once my sis actually uses them, I will post back here and let you know how they worked and the comfort factor etc... (and believe me, she will let me know, that droopy lid is her nemesis! ha ha) I do believe she bought them on Ebay cheaper, but will have to verify this through her.....
Like I said, a temp fix for the instant gratification factor but I highly recommend facial exercises to counter the droopies. I have been using LouLou's Ageless if you Dare exercises for 11 days now and I can already notice a difference in my face, not necessarily in my eyes as I don't have the droopy problem, but an overall toned look to it. I have also been using the AA LightStim for 10 days too and I know that both together have been producing some wonderful results already for me.
I do notice though with the Ageless eye area exercises, my eyebrow is temporarily higher and quite noticeably so. Its rather funny (gives me this quizzical look! ha ha) and always happens on my right side (odd and not sure why that is??) It's very, very short lived gone in a minute or so..but at least it lets me know those muscles are actually working during the exercises! |

Muscle exercises, and some chamomile tea sachets cooled in freezer to put over eyes for about 10 minutes should help also. |

Ok...here we go with a review on those little eye strips directly from the sis! .....
She loves them!! Major difference in the droop and they really do work...she is excited. Around $15 bucks for a box of 30 on Ebay and whatever shipping was....but to hear her excited about that darn droopy eye lid is pretty damn great considering that is all I have heard about for the last several months! ha ha.... Not hard to apply, and if you don't place them right, she said you can reapply. You can feel them a bit when they are in there, but she said it's not all bad and eventually she will get used to the feel of them. 30 in a box, both eyes for 15 days...kinda seems expensive when you think about it...but maybe just use them on important days when you want to look your best!
But anyway, HUGE rave from the sis!!!!! |

i attached a link to the picture above. Its re my eyes. One eye seems smaller then the other. I noticed this in couple of photos like a week or so ago. I dint have this problem before cause i did not notice them in photos before........At first i thought i was smiling in that so tht made the eye look smaller......But i have looked in the mirror and taken heaps of photos since then to check the problem......And it seems true...one eye is smaller then the other. It seemes lopsided .......What do i do? is it a droppping eye lid? Please help........All my photos just tend to look weird now with one small eye I am only 24 to deal with this problem.....I dunno how it happend maybe i bumped that eye or its a sagging eye lid what do you think? What can i do? |

Simran.....might I say first that you have gorgeous eyes!
Looks to me you may have a bit more of a droopy brow in that photo on the left side (that would be your right). You can see more of your lid on the other side so it must mean you have sagging brow skin on the other.
But really, photos seem to make our so called "flaws" more apparent than they are in real life...I just went through this not long ago on another thread with my face...I took a frontal photo and it looks like my whole left side of my face is lower than the right and my lips are lopsided too! But just looking at myself in the mirror I don't notice it as much. When looking at you I really don't think other people will notice that as much as you will because we are our harshest critics!!
Our faces are all naturally asymmetrical...that is just how it is...so I wouldn't worry too much about your eye, I don't think people will ever look past how lovely they are!!!! |

thanks bren........i know im being more critical...its not as much noticeable as is in pics...but i dint have this problem say 2 months ago cause then the pics came out normal......now my pics come out with one eye smaller just looks weird. So something has irritated it or causing the eye to be smaller
BUT are u saying the droopy eye is the one that is more "wider open"? so in the photo this would be left side of the screen?......and the smaller eye is the better eye?
UMMM i have somehow recently acquired this habit of lifting my eye brow alot especially when im amused ......and this is on the wider open eye side. Not the smaller one.... |

Try True Radiance eye cream. I believe its made by a home business-google the name for the website. Their eye cream really opens up the eyes. A lot of people on this forum rave about it. |

bren,
I found your post while looking for a fix to my droopy eyelids, and I decided to try the Eye Magic product your sister recommended. OH MY GOD! What a difference it makes! Ive worn it around coworkers, friends, and family and no one notices it, and I've received so many compliments! Some people actually asked if I got surgery! LOL!
I searched for the product on Google and found the Eye Magic homepage at eyemagic.net, and searched around a bit and found that they do offer it cheaper on eBay. Its about 50% off starting eBay bid price.
Bren I just wanted to thank you for sharing that product with us, Im already hooked and its only been a couple weeks! Thank you!!!

I don't see anything wrong with your eyes! They look beautiful. Sometimes if you don't get enough sleep, one or both eyes may get smaller. Try a bit more sleep and see if that helps solve your problem. You're too young to worry about sagging lids. |

It is very hard to tell the indifference. I had an upper and lower bleph and still have one that one some days is slightly smaller. My doc said in nature they are not perfect.
Try Kinerase eye lift, it temporarily firms and lifts and I used it with good results until my blephs. |

My sagging eyelids have a HUGE improvement after using ReVive Eye cream (>1 year)and doing Ageless program (only three months).
Apart from Ageless exercises, there is one exercise from Eva fraser which I found very effective to firm and lift the sagging upper lids :
http://www.evafraser.com/facial_fitness.html
You will notice results very soon if you do it every day! Good Luck. |
