I need a new natural body wash for the shower. I've used Dr. Bronner's organic castile soap for the longest time and it is a great price and very simple ingredients. The problem is it totally destroys my shower with white soap buildup and I'm constantly having to scrub it over and over to try to get it out, as it's not easy to get off. It also is fairly drying and I'd like to find something that makes me feel as clean but is more moisturizing.
Not a lot of "organic" washes and soaps out there are very natural and just use the word organic for sales. Are there any great ones thought that are natural? Thanks. |

I use Weleda Calendula Shampoo and Body wash. Ingredients:
Water (Agua), Coco Glucoside, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Alcohol, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Limonene*, Linalool (*), Natural Constituents of the essential oils
It's supposed to be for babies and children so is very gentle.
EDS don't seem to carry this particular product. You can purchase it fromwww.drugstore.com. |

Geez Bryg thank you for mentioning this problem with the Dr. Bronners and the shower build up. I was using it a couple years ago in the bath tub and couldn't figure out why it was so hard to wash off the ring around my tub! I don't know if you can find anything organic in the way you want except look for as few ingredients in your shower gel as possible and with no color, & no scent. You could always check the vitamin stores but than again, some natural products
aren't always as natural as we think. |
