Ladies, I am hoping someone out here can help.
About 15 years ago when I was at business school in Brisbane, we used to have a weekly "spiritual" class that focussed on stress release, meditation and postive thinking (it was the most awesome class)
Anyway, the meditation tape they used was amazing and I would give my right arm to find a CD that follows the same theory, but cannot find one on the net.
1. begins by clenching and releasing each part of your body to relax it.
2. worked through 5-7 color levels starting with red and ending on green. The idea was you chose your own scene for each color.. something totally red, orange, blue, etc.
The idea was that over a period of time, your mind would become so accustomed to total relaxation on visualization of your "green" image that just imagining that image would instantly relax you.
One side of the tape "talked" you through the process, the other side just had the melody so when you were used to it you could go it alone.
It was the most wonderful system, but they did not have the rights to sell or copy, so we all ended up with one using numbers, counting down from 7 to 1 - nowhere near as good in my book.
Does anyone know of a system like this i can get on CD? |
