Oh my I'm stumped. I have started using the Alphaderm ce line and very happy with it. It just struck me, what am I going to do in the hot, humid Texas summer as I live on farm/ranch. I grow our veggies and raise pot belly pig, and 6 adult dogs, 9 puppies, getting a calf and pony soon. I'm outside with chores off and on all day long. So I Sweat. I wash my face even if it's just water 6 or more times a day to cool of and stay clean. I live mostly with windows open when can reduce electric bill from about $650 to around $230.
I can't afford to apply the serums multiple times through out the day for goodness sakes. I'm not a model, superstar, or politian or someone in any for of puplic life. I just read about Alphaderm here searched out reviews on net and gave it a try then feel in love with the results. Just wanted it for my pleasure and now my hubby's.
How many times a day is ALRIGHT to reapply the serums, safely????
If I can Not continue these serums, what can I use instead of for nice results.
This has really felt like "Ah, Bummer!"
Feeling kinda of sad about it.
Any advice, Ya'll??? |

I think once a day is enough, provided you don't immediately wash it off. After they are absorbed, Vitamin C can remain in your skin for up to 72 hours. It cannot be washed or rubbed off. At least, this is true for the L-Ascorbic Acid form of Vitamin C. So I would not worry! |

Ditto on the sunblock (hands too) and this you may want to reapply. And the big hat. And sunglasses.

Hi all,
Vit C serum is applied once daily, allowed to absorb for 10 mins and followed by a good sunscreen. Once absorbed it should be effective for between 48-72 hours. |

While that is usually true, there are plenty of people who use it twice a day. Nothing is carved in stone! |

I'm doing everything suggested and I love my big straw hat Look better this summer than last.
My pot belly pig still loves her wrinkles though so that will save me alot of mula. thats a joke
Have new puppies and new fruit trees this summer.
Also new tomato hedges, onions and carrots. Well the carrots arent doin too well because of the rabbit/bunny population. Will fix that prob with rabbit wire.
Well all stay cool

And a big hello to a fellow Texan. I grew up on a cattle ranch and rode horses many years without sunscreen and am paying dearly for it now. It's like aging in dog years!
I have undergone laser peels, topical peels and IPL's to get my skin to at least look this century, but products do help.
A good vitamin c serum and sunscreen for the morning and a good cleanser and moisturizer at night makes a lot of difference.
We had a potbelly a few years ago and two miniature donkeys. Great fun. Gardens, not so much!! |

That is wonderful information. I didn't know it stays in your skin that long. So you can get away with applying Vit C every other morning? |
