I have very mild acne, my acne isn't my problem the horrible dark scarring that I get from it is, so my dermatologist prescribed aclaro. She said I could use it for my dark spots as well as my elbows and underarms that tend to get very dark? Has anyone used this for areas other than their face and gotten success?
Also she prescribed differin even though my acne is really mild, but probably beccause I voiced my concern to her, being over thirty that i thought it was time i statred using retin-a since i heard it was good fo wrinkles and the prevention of them(my eye area is my main concern), but from my research im not seeing differin as something to really combat wrinkles... |

I believe there has been some research showing that differin does have some anti-aging effects. Its a good place start IMO since its considered the most gentle of the rx's. It will also help with dark spots that acne leaves behind. |
