I've tried both, and i prefer the Decleor oil much more.
Decleor oil is more thick, and smells nicer, heavier smell.
Darphin has a very light faint smell, and the oil is more lightweight
Anyone else that has used both? |

| Each oil blend is different depending on the product ingredients. That said, I put some Darphin oil blend samples for dry skin and sensitive skin on my hand (I think one was called rose) and later got alligator texture on the spots so I'll stick with the Decleor Angelique and Neroli Aromessences which work well for me. |

The Decleor website has issued a warning about counterfeit products - you had better all read it:
http://www.decleor.co.uk/more_decleor/official_statement
I'm a huge fan of facial oils, however, I have never purchased either the Decleor or the Darphin ones. But if you also like to use oils, why don't you just buy readily available essential and carrier oils then you can make concoctions to suit yourself. I'm sure it would be allot cheaper. |

| I've been eyeing the oils from these two brands for a while. It seems Darphin is more expensive. Maybe I will start with Decleor if it feels better on the skin. |

| Hi Ladies, are these oils suitable for combination skin prone to break-outs? I'm getting really confused about what's best for my type. I suffer from break-outs yet when I went for a facial I was told that my skin is dehydrated and the facialist recommended the Aromaesence Neroli oil and balm. Thanks in advance for your advise. |

If you want to know the detailed differences, please check the ingredients. Everyone here has different skin type, and may not has the same experience with you.
So, the ingredients list may would help you if you want to know whether these products could help you deal with you problem or there is any ingredient not safe to you. |

Definitely a good point, flyfly.

I use Decleor Aromessence as a moisturizer under cream (as I have dry skin). I first spray my face with Evian or other spring water which helps spread the oil blend it well. For oily skin, use Ylang Ylang which helps balance the skin.

I just went to their site and they do give info about the main ingredients - the essential oils:

| I have never used the Darphin oils but have used Decloer neroli and ylang ylang for over 6 years now. They are a few of the constants I have in my cabinet. I try other lotions, etc. but always have these oils on hand. I use the ylang ylang when I am more oily or breaking out and use the neroli as an everyday oil. Love the scents and they are mild, you don't need much just a few drops. Usually I use them alone at night or will add the essential balm or hydra floral cream for a little more moisture. |
