Has anyone tried this foundation? I am hankering to buy a liquid foundation after years of mineral makeup. I won't use it every day, but on real dry skin days, it might be nice to apply something moist. I tried the sample that came in a magazine and it was quite nice, but only it was only enough to cover one cheek. Just wondered if anyone is using this and likes it? |

I bought it once ages ago and I thought it was quite good, I also purchased the blush mousse. However, I'm now using NCN's Sheer Mineral Tint tinted moisturiser and think it's wonderful. I rave about it all the time here on the Forum but it's actually the only product that I've continued to purchase - I'm always jumping from one thing to the other. But I'm very happy with this foundation because it's easy to apply, moisturising, doesn't cake and leaves a dewy finish - plus it still has the mineral base. |

I do think this mousse is the best product in Maybelline brand, since this foundation is even comparable with other high-price foundation, just like Dior, Lancome and EL.
Anyway, I do not like other products of Maybelline, they are wasting my money... |

Me too! Been using MMU forever and I've been wanting to try this but was concerned that it might be too matte for my dry skin. Its also heavy on the silicones so I would not be able to use every day. I'd love to hear what you think of it if you get it. |

I have tried all of these foundations...I am in fact, wearing the dream matte mousse right now - I like it alot, it feels really lovely. I only would make a tiny complaint that the colors are always a little off on my olive skin.
As for the Liquid Dream Mousse (order those words however they go) I really REALLY like the way it feels when I put it on my skin. It almost feels like silicone-based primers feel as you put them on - some people have described them as greasy to me, but I think they feel really luxurious and wonderful. Like I said, I could be happier with the tone of the foundation, but as I get more tan over the summer, I find it's easier to match foundations to my skin.
If it works color-wise for you, I'd say go for it! Wait until Walgreens has a BOGO (about every other week) and try out the dream mouse blush in peach (i think it looks pretty on lots of skin tones). Just make sure you blend anything from this line in really well - it can look cakey without careful application. |

But have you tried it? You cannot judge a product on price alone. Inexpensive does not equate to ineffective nor does expensive equate to quality. |

The new Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse is a very nice foundation. It's very silky feeling with medium coverage. I have combination skin and it stays put on my face at least 10 hours. I never cared much for the original Maybelline mousse founation. This new one is much, much better. |
