I frequently change my sunscreen / sunblock.
I did not find one that make me want to buy a 2nd one.
Please recommend your favorite sunscreen or sunblock to me. |

ZO sunscreen - expensive but so nice. I would use on face only. |

Proderm, a sunblock in a metallic tube, and its a foam. Just like hair foam.
Not pricey at all - but Its so good! I just love it! Unfortunately they stop selling it in stores in my town, and I believe they only sell it in bigger cities and in some specific shops.
Highly recommended by Swedish skin doctors. Doesn't make the skin sticky or white, I just melts in to the skin. Water resistant.
I haven't found a better one than that, and I am very picky. Second best are Cliniques sunblock. Good in very harsh sun exposure.
Anyone else using Proderm? And can suggest a online shop? |

IPSA Protector Super Trans Sun Block EX SPF50 PA+++ (from Japan) is the my favorite for the past few years.
I've tried many popular sunscreen before (Shiseido, Clinique, Lancome, Neutrogena... ), and IPSA is the lightest and sheerest sunblock I've ever come across. Its watery, non-clogging texture is very easy to blend on the skin.
The BEST thing is that it keeps my skin fair and freckle-free even after long exposure under the sun! |

I would never buy any 2nd bottle product, because I always believe that the next bottle would be much more better than what I am using recently.
I'm going to buy DDF sunscreen, which is very cheap in EDS. I hope it would work for me.
Last year I tried Neutrogena SPF30 sunscreen, but doesn't work for me at all! |

Yes! One google hit to show the bottle; http://www.sun-togs.co.uk/products/524
Available in SPF 12, 15, 20 and 30.
Highly recommended, no sand glued to the skin, not greasy, fragrance free, invisible, last for up to 6 hours with toweling.. etc. |

I use Retin A... SUN BLOCK is of the utmost important...
I use "I'm covered" by NCN... it can leave a bit of a white residue... HOWEVER, I kind of like that... I know weird... but I think it brightens the face UNDER makeup...
For the Body... blue lizard... for something that you can spray and DRY SUPER FAST... and isn't full of toxic crap... Kinesys... get the childrens product for even less toxic... this is a "sports spray..." spray on... it DRIES fast...
I'd like to keep it in my car... but my kids seem to think it's something for them to squirt everywhere... I would spray on my hands for an oil free protection!!!! |

Calorblind - the link you posted does not list the ingredients which is really very important when choosing a sunblock.
I'm really hoping the two people who mentioned both the mousse products and the IPSA product will jump on, bottle in hand, and let us know what the active ingredients are.
Thanks - |

Can anyone recommend a good sunscreen for kids (maybe something that is tear free). We are taking our 3 and 5 year olds to Disney World in June. They are both blonde with fair skin. We just made the reservations and I am already having nightmares about them getting sun burnt! |

Jom - that's terrific, thank you! It shows the ingredients for the proderm mousse products and the ultra sun - very helpful!
Now, does anyone have the ingredients for the IPSA sunblock? Then my day will be complete!! |

Here's a suggestion this is a LRP SPF50 made especially for kids. Have fun at Disney! You'll need a good sunscreen!!!

Ones I have bought second (and more bottles of): the Avene sunscreen with tinosorb (int he orange tube) that fawnie recommended; Shiseido's SPF 50+ sunscreen, and for the body, La Roche Posay Anthelios. I really loved the look and feel of NIA 24 sunscreen, but it gave me a rash! So no refill on that one! |
