I LOVE my new cleanser! And it's rare that I love any products! It is calming- soothing- takes off my NIA 24 physical sunscreen (which Cetaphil and Toleriane cleansers did not remove well)- and it's only 16 dollars in canada which is not too bad. It's called Roc Calmance soothing cleansing fluid. It is wipe off like cetephil but I rinse it anyway. It contains a lot of anti inflammatory ingredients. It is not drying at all- it leaves my skin hydrated. Cetaphil was drying me out.

Here are the ingredients:
Ingredients RoC Calmance Soothing Cleansing Fluid: aqua, cyclopentasiloxane, isononyl isononanoate, pentaerythrityl tetraethylhexaonate, isostearyl palmitate, cetyl ethylhexaonate, glycerin, hexylene glycol, gingko biloba, chrysanthemum parthenium, acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, PEG-6 caprylic/capric glycerides, sorbitan stearate, sucrose cocoate, glyceryl stearate, PEG-100 stearate, sodium carboxymethyl betaglucan, sodium hydroxide, disodium EDTA, methylparaben, propylparaben, phenoxyethanol, parfum [FPT 0769].

I would recommend this for anyone with rosacea especially.

My friend is looking for some products to help calm the redness in her skin, it's not rosacea, it's redness related to lupus, but looks similar to rosacea. Do you think this cleanser might help with non-rosacea type redness?

I think it might. My other favorite cleanser for redness is L'occitane ultra comforting cleansing milk. it is a bit more expensive and a bit too moisturizing for my skin type, but it might be great for your friend. it definately gets rid of redness as much as a cleanser can. Other products to get rid of redness are Topix Replenix CF serum or cream, you can get it online. I also like Dove sensitive essentials face cream, I got it at Shoppers drug mart for 5.99 and the ingredients are really anti inflammatory and no fragrance.

That's great information amonavis, I will pass this on to her. She'll be thrilled, the redness is really bothering her. Thank you.
