I do like the La Mer face wash, but I don't think it's worth the price. I also have the moisturizer, and think it's just okay

it is said that la mer is helpful when your skin has some problems. At that time it can calm your skin.

I have acne prone/oily skin and most moisturizers make me break out. I've been using the Creme de la Mer moisturizer for about 4 years now and my skin has been fine with it. I only use it in the winter as it makes my skin greasy in the summer.

It does not improve your acne scars or anything like that, it just helps moisturize your skin. Though, if you're doing stuff like dermabrasion/laser etc, it does help 'calm'/heal your skin fast.

My cousin used it for a bit and hated it as it made her breakout and she didn't even have acne prone skin. It is expensive stuff, but you can go to the counter at the department store and ask for a trial/free sample (which is what I did before I bought it). You're supposed to use very little of it, the trial size lasted me a week. That's enough time to evaluate if your skin hates it.

I used the Creme de La Mer in a jar and found it to be quite heavy, left a shiny finish, did not absorb well. I didn't notice any improvement in my skin except for more moisturized. I wanted it to work as it sounded so great and all the advertising...persuaded me! I wouldn't rebuy it as I think there are better moisturizers and it is very expensive.

Cream de La Me is a good moisturizing and calming cream. If you have enough money, buy it
