This is another of the Neocutis products that I have now used for over 9 weeks and it has become my favourite sunscreen with an SPF of 30. I have been using the large 30ml container and it will last me over three months.
The texture is a very light cream with just a faint tint. The tint is hardly noticeable and is probably there to ensure there is no white cast. When applied, it would be difficult to tell that you even had sunscreen on but the skin is left with a very smooth looking finish.
The beauty of this product is that it can be used alone of a morning as a combined treatment/moisturiser/sunscreen. For those times when you are running late, it only takes a minute to apply and you're off and running.

Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Octinoxate 7.5%, Zinc Oxide 7.3%.
Inactive Ingredients: PSP Technology, Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated C6-14 Olefin Polymers, Hexyldecanol, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Camelia Sinensis Extract, Silica Cutaneous Lysate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Squalane, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryoyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Steareth-21, Melanin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polysorbate 60, Triethoxycaprylsilane, Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben.

I have usually been applying this over the top of the Hydrogel so I can't really say if there have been any skin improvements but it certainly does not cause any breakouts and my skin is looking very healthy and clear since using the Neocutis line.
This is another Neocutis product that I have reordered. For those sensitive to smell, none of the Neocutis products have any detectable smell at all.
I have just received my second order of the Hydrogel and will review it in the near future along with the serum.

Bushy,

Did you find the tint of this to be lighter than the ZO Oclipse, or about the same?

Thanks!

I ordered the small size (it's 29% off, I couldn't help it!). Hopefully, I'll have it by tomorrow and do a side by side test with ZO.

It isn't anything like the ZO sunscreen. There is a faint tint but once applied, it disappears and just looks natural.

This product has everything I want in an SPF moisturizer, but it caused me to break out for some reason. Does anyone have any idea what may be the cause? I looked in the ingredients and didn't see anything. I know dimethicone causes me to break out, but this does not have that.

I can't imagine what would have caused you to break out as I am very prone to break outs and have never had any with the Neocutis products. Have you used a new product underneath it. Perhaps you could try just the Neocutis by itself for a few days and see if that makes a difference.

I think I will give it a try again after the few pimples I have clear up. Something is making me break out and my face is normally clear. I thought it was the neocutis. The othernew products I introduced was a sample of Cellcosmet's Ultra Vital, sample of Dermalogica Age Smart Spf 30 and Avene Eulage cream. All of these products are very gentle, so I am clueless as to the cause. I think I'll start back with my normal routine and introduce each slowly to figure it out.

kdd - Did you have more success with the Neocutis on your second attempt?

I just wanted to report that I bought the small sized version, following bushy's glowing review, and can confirm that I have experienced the same good results. Thankfully, no breakouts just yet - although I've only used it for several days so far.

The tint does indeed disappear, leaving NO white cast -hurray! There isn't even that tell-tale sunscreen shiny face!

The price does put me off somewhat, but I think I shall probably use this during the summer and then switch to something more econonical for winter use. If it wasn't so expensive, I would definitely use this as my all year round
product.

I do believe this is what the lovely avalange would describe as "cosmetically elegant."

Excellent stuff! And thanks for yet another good rec, bushy. Our skins often seem to like the same products. Now let's just hope blummin' Estee Lauder don't buy this one out! Laughing

Majorb,

Yes! I am not sure what was making me break out, but it was not this. I was happy about that, because I really love the product. I think my only complaint about it, is that it doesn't come in bigger sizes Smile.

Yes, I got the smallest size to try because of the price, but 30ml seems to be the largest one they do.

I'm glad it wasn't causing your breakouts. It's impressing me tremendously so far - blows my usual Clarins UV40 Plus out of the water!

Hi all,

Apologies in advance for interrupting this thread but I was just wondering if there is a way I can change an order I have placed with EDS. I placed it today. Thank you.

No apology needed Smile. I'm sure if you email or call them you can change it. Make sure you do it quick though, because they are fast about shipping items out.
