Okay, I think I can safely say that the horrendous winter is over and spring is truly around the corner and with that I'd like to brighten my makeup just a smidge.
I have been looking for a coral pinky blush but haven't hit upon THE one. There's a lot of peachy blushes with a hint of pink (i.e. Nars O) but I really want a coral pink color that will complement my yellowish undertoned skin.
Any recommendations?

If you are willing to try a cream blush, Julie Hewett Peachie is a shocking coral-peach tone in the jar, but a nice sheer glow on the face. |

Tarte Cheek Stain in Tipsy is a fav of mine. I have a nice powder blush from smashbox but it looks like the colour is discontinued. If you like mineral makeup Barefaced Minerals, Color Me Coral is a nice choice (I like color me rose too). |

MAC Fleur Power is my favourite coral-pink, but you have to be careful to use a light hand for a reeeeaaaly sheer dusting to get the best effect. It flatters everybody (from very fair to dark) I've used this on.
Bobbi Brown Apricot is similar to MAC Fleur Power in the pan but on the face it is slightly pinker. |

Hi pumpingmummy - I'm still looking...maybe I should have used the word "salmon" or "poppy" in my request because I've checked out a few of the colors that the lovely and helpful ladies on this thread have suggested and they still look a little too peachy for me. For instance, a couple of blushes mentioned were Nars O and Coralista - have both of those - too peach - not enough pink. I gave away theNars O, but like the Coralista enough to keep it around....but again, on me it's peach and I see no pink. The BE True sounds interesting..but if the blush has bismuth in it like the foundation than that won't work for me. I itch like crazy...but I'll check it out..I've never tried a Bobbi Brown blush - so that may be worth investigating as well.
Thanks for everyone's suggestions! I'll be looking into all of them and will be sure to let you know when I have that "A-HA moment!"
Hugs -

OMG Maria funny you should mention Poppy, I'd just bought Bobbi Brown's new powder blush in Poppy, and it's just amaaaaaazing!
I was also looking for a new blush and I went to BB and Poppy was the color that caught my eye; it's just beautiful. I took BB's blush brush and put it on myself (you can't really tell how much or how little the SA would put on you - well I certainly can't) and the effect was 'wow': pink that seemed to come from underneath your skin.
I'm yellow based medium toned and Poppy just brightens up my face. No clown look at all. Applied with a light hand it gives a sheer wash of pinkness that lasts all day. No peach, I promise! I think its flattering even for fairer skins.
Update us if youve bought anything okay. |

I really love Bobbi Brown's blushes. The formulas are just excellent. Two colors that I rely on for everyday staples are Nectar and Peony. I think Nectar would be closer to what you are looking for, but Peony is just so sheer and pretty. Someone else had mentioned Apricot and that is another very beautiful color, but it looks very bright in the pan. I think that is what I love most about Bobbi Brown blushes; they look bright in the pan, but go on perfect and glowy.
Good luck in your search!
