I love this sunscreen! It is my HG. It contains Octrylene, Titanium Dioxide, Avobenzone, Mexoryl XL and SX, and Tinsorb. I bought it in Spain so I dont know the percentages (they aren't required the put them there). Naturally the UVA protection impresses me the most (PPD 28.) I like how Tinsorb and Mexoryl are so stable and hardly degrade over time, compared to other ingredients. But I also like the calming and soothing effect this sunscreen seems to have on my skin. It does contain a lot of chemicals so I was worried that it would contribute to redness on my pre-rosacea skin. But it actually CALMS my skin. Not only that, but the Titanium Dioxide and small amount of silicone and silica actually make my skin look brighter and perfect. I look glowing and radiant, and my complexion is immediately evened. It is not a perfect sunscreen; it contains Octrylene which I am not nuts about. But it does stabalize the other ingredients so it has an important purpose. I have discovered that there is really no perfect sunscreen out there, but this is the closest I have found. If I am going to the beach or swimming in the summer, I will layer some of my Topix Glycolix Elite Sunscreen 30 (17% Z Cote Zinc oxide) on top. Since the Zinc is coated in the Topix, it should not interact with the Avobenzone in my Fluide Extreme. I don't think the average person would have to do this, but I am a bit paranoid about UVA rays |

I have this sunscreen and nearly used it up but I still don't know if it really works or not. My spots have not got darker though, so maybe it does work, but I wear a hat and stay inside most of the time during daylight hours, like a vampire. |
