Hello,

I saw this on ebay and was wondering what you think of it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ACNE-Therapy-3in1-Blue-Red-Green-LED-Light-Treatment_W0QQitemZ140311508069QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSkin_Care_test?hash=item140311508069&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

It has all 3 lights: blue, red, green. So it's supposed to take care of acne, hyperpigmentation, and skin sagginess. It's also only $43 plus $10 to ship.

Hmmm...no real information here on exactly what the lights are, how many there are, or how powerful. And the blurb says that it powers itself off after fifteen minutes. Why would it need to do that? It's supposed to combine all three wavelengths, but the photo shows only blue lights. I saw a combo three color device at Brookstone in the mall--very few LEDs in the head, and those that were there were pretty dim. If this device is similar, then it wouldn't be strong enough to have any effect.

The write up on Ebay is a mishmash of semi-scientifically accurate information. I dunno--it looks more like a waste of money than a bargain to me...

Oh well, that's what I thought, too. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Seems the best LED to try then is Lighstim since they offer 90-day satisfaction guarantee. I checked prolight and they do not offer any satisfaction guarantee, so if it doesn't work on you, you're screwed. Confused

Hi Bira - I bought the AA lightstim in Feb 08.
Have used it consistently since then tapering
off after the first couple months. It is well
worth the investment - you won't be sorry you
saved for that device!! DiPhx

Thank you for your post! Knowing that you could have returned if it didn't work must have put your mind at ease, too, right?

Can you tell me what results you get from using AALS? How often do you use it now? How long per session? What was your main concern that you wanted the lightstim to accomplish for you?

Hi Bira - Okay the first 2-3months I used the AAlightstim on my neck and face for 4 minutes
about5- 6 times a week. Then I cut nack to 3X
a week for 3-4 minutes per spot.
On my neck my wrinkles and neck rings have diminished; the skin over my thyroid is still crinkly as I don't put the light there;
on my face my lines have diminished, my skin has thickened somewhat, and the few sun spots I had are lightened. My face always feels tighter after the AAlightstim. My skin tone has evened out as well. It's definitely worth the investment to save up for a good one!
You'll love it! DiPhx
