HELP PLEASE! I have norm./comb. skin. It tends to dry a lot in the cheeks but get slightly oily in the T-zone. I have a constant array of tiny white & black heads on my forehead (you can't see them unless you're close) & the occasional black head between my jawline & cheek. Sometimes my chin will get 1 or 2 white heads that develop into pustules. I'm 30yrs old, no wrinkles, few small sun spots & have a lighter-med. olive skin tone. Can anyone recommend a product line? I recently tried Philosophy's On a Clear Day line and loved it at first. Then I noticed it made me oilier throughout the day & then I broke out. (I was really bummed cuz I had read so many great things about this line). I just received the cosmedicine trial pack today and will try it too. Anyway, sorry for so much detail - I hope someone can help! Thank you! |

Jeniful,
Consider using pretika sonic dermabrasion facial care system (around $55 at amazon). It got rid of my newly forming blackheads and whiteheads. The existing deep ones may need an aesthetician's magic touch. At times I use aspirin with my cleanser (acts like a scrub). |

I recommend the clarisonic brush - for exfoliating, I noticed a big difference in my blackheads when I was using it regularly. I stopped because I have not gotten around to buying a voltage converter being in Aussieland. The voltage here fried my first clarisonic set LOL :P Luckily I got a replacement (but I was lucky to have even gotten it so I'm not going to try it again without a converter)
Or 302 skincare, the acne mist and recovery minerals..seems to keep those pesky black and white heads away. |

The Dr Hauschka clay mask really worked for me at clearing blackheads and pores in my t zone. I steamed my face with the steam concentrate as they directed. I really am impressed by how effective it is and not irritating. Their cleansing cream is also good. I used the double duty cleanser on a daily basis from Isomers and it also cleared out my pores but I stopped as it contains salicylic acid and lactic acid and I don't want anything too harsh on my skin. I might just use it occasionally. HTH |
