Has anyone used this product? It's from the makers of MaMa lotion? I just received mine and used it last night. I love the bottle, it's one of those twist tops and the opening pops up. Goes on easily. Directions say to wait 10-15 minutes before using moisturizer. I bought mine at the Skin Store as they had 15% off and free shipping over $49.

I'll get back and do a review once I have used it for a bit. |

I've been using M2 HP Skin Refinish for a little over a month, now, and I hate to sound like a commercial, but my skin hasn't looked this great since I was a pre-adolescent. (I'm 35 years old.)
I suffered from cystic acne (which had only gotten worse as I'd gotten older) and melasma. I had some significant acne scarring, as well. NO MORE. M2 Skin Refinish (20%), paired with M2's moisturizer has completely transformed my skin. No acne, my melasma is quickly fading, and my acne scars are rolling off my face (literally). My skin is even, smooth, and glowing. I'm predicting that within another two weeks of using this product, I will be able to leave the house without makeup for the first time since I was 15 years old.
I have pretty tough skin, so I was able to work up to using it three nights in a row pretty quickly. Yes, I've had some flaking, but it's nothing that a mild exfoliating cleanser wouldn't remove (I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub). It's also a bit sticky and sometimes makes your face stick to your pillow, but in my mind it's a very small price to pay for the results you get. I feel like my face is being protected while I sleep.
As far as wrinkle reduction, I don't have many wrinkles, but the ones I do have are significantly decreased and/or smoother. I think I'll see some major improvement as I continue to use this product.
I've heard some people complain about excessive dryness, but I think that they must have very sensitive skin. I would recommend that they start slow with the M2 Moisturizer, and then work up to the 12% serum. I haven't experienced any dryness since I started using this, and I'm not an incredibly oily gal. Just flakiness at times.
As for acne, I have never used an anti-acne product that worked this well...and I've tried 'em all. Nothing seemed to get rid of my deep, painful cysts. This does. The tiny zits I do get now are easily dealt with by simply scratching them off lightly with my [cleansed] fingernail.
As with all peels and AHA's, just make sure you use SPF!
Bottom line: This stuff delivers. It does what it says it will do, and for the price, you can't beat it. I already have a spare bottle in the fridge for when my first one runs out. |
