I am FINALLY going to try Cellcosmet. One of the shops here had a special trial pack.. small tub of the eye cream, small tub of ultravital face cream and one ampule of the elastocollagen!! I paid about US$35 including the shipping, so not bad I guess.
I have been dying to buy this line from EDS for ages, but baulked at the $$ without trial. Now if the CA exchange rate would just fall a bit I can get a real bargain!
Anyone here ever tried their elasto-collagen or ultravital cream? |

tigertim, I've used the ultra vital and it was far superior to any moisturizing cream I've ever used. Unfortunately, it's expensive.
The exact benefits I can't remember. I was using La Mer at the time and had a sample of the ultra vital and it was certainly in a different sphere. Sorry I can't elaborate more. It was over a year ago. |

Yay, please you must report back and let us know what you think. The Cellcosmet Eye Cream is still my favorite. I do have a sample of the Ultra Vital (and two of the ampules I think) but I have not yet tried it. I think Babs (Barbara Portno) was a big fan of the Ultra Vital if I am not mistaken.
I wonder how Babs is going nowadays, she hasn't logged on for *ages*. |

They arrived! They arrived! It was like 8pm yesterday when they were deliverd and I had already cleansed and done a mask at around 4pm.. but could not resist late in the evening having another go.
I will report back on the product review board after a couple weeks use, but my first impression is:
Elasto-collagen: I always figured I would NEVER buy this as it is so expensive, BUT, judging by how much I used after 3 uses I think one vial will last 7-14 days (depending on how much of your face you use it on) I am doing basically everywhere except my t-zone. So, CA$230 (here on EDS) for 12 vials is not as bad as it sounds - espcially when they say after initial treatment just use morning and night 3 times a week.
Ultravital: nice and light and leaves my skin feeling dewy. I am undecided on the scent though. I think I like it, but the scent is a bit too "fragrancy" for my liking. I dont like using brands like CD, Guerlain, and Thalgo due to the strong perfumes. I like the essential oil aromas like with Decleor.
By law, the samples have to come with the full ingredient list, and I cannot find the characters for "fragrance" on there, so I am wondering what the scent is?
Eye cream: seems to melt into the skin, but again with the scent....
I dont think Ultravital and the eye cream are something I could use in summer, but hopefully they will be good during our dry winter.
Oh, and I got hubby to try them tonight too. He liked the feel of the ultravital on his skin, but when I made him use the eye cream he complained about being "a girl" (his acceptance of skin care does not extend to using a separate moisturizer and eye cream) |

Good to see you got your hubby to agree to actually try them.
Personally, I really like the fragrance of the Cellcosmet eye cream But that's just me Looking forward to your reviews in a few weeks time. |

I've been using Cellcosmet Eye Cream for almost a week now. But, I have not seen any difference yet. I've read so many great reviews of this product, so I wonder .... is this a wrong product for me or am I just not paitent enough? I dont have wrinkles. I do have dark circles and undereye puffness. |

I think you have to give it more time. I have found with most product I use that it takes a while for change to actually show.
Now, are your bags just puffies you get occasionally or a family trait? Are your dark circles a reflection from the bags? The reason I ask this is I have undereye bags. While eye product helped firm the eye area to look much better, I can't get rid of fat deposits under my eyes. |

One week update:
Elasto-Collagen: I still have a couple days worth left in the vial. I really dont think that one vial of this product is enough to get "results" - actually, if you consider it takes a month for skin to renew itself, a week or two is not enough of a trial for any product - BUT that said, after trying this I think I will buy the 12 vial set and try it for the 3 months.
The liquid has no smell and instantly absorbs with no residue at all. I have been using on my neck, jawline/cheeks, and eyes.
Ultra-Vital: Keeps the skin nicely moisturized, without residue or sticky feeling (which I like). But I am experiencing a few problems as my nose has become oiler, yet developing the dry, flaky skin as well. I had this problem almost a year ago and the beautician said because my skin is delicate it reacts like this when the moisturizer is stopping it from "breathing" (or something like that). I am thinking it might be a bit rich for my skin. So far, that problem aside, I am liking it, but have not found any reason to encourage me to spend the $$$ on buying it again. I might try and get samples from EDS of the sensitive day/night creams by Cellcosmet.
Eye cream: I think I will get a good month out of the trial pot. It is a light cream that "melts" when touched (I quickly spread the cream between my ring fingers before patting on) Does not feel heavy at all but not sure how I would like it in summer. My face perspires a lot and I have always been adverse to creams.
Re effects, even though I have been operating on about 4-5 hrs sleep a night the last week my eyes are not as puffy in the morning as I would have thought. Lack of sleep is the only time I get puffy eyes, so this week has been a good test. Too early to judge it on wrinkles yet.
I dont have dark circles, but women here in Japan swear it gets rid of Panda eyes - keep at it for a month to 5 weeks. One product I have heard good things about for puffiness is the Molton Brown Eye Rescue (I think you can get it online from Sephora), I intend to get some next week and give it a go. I am also still planning on getting the ADCE firming product which should be a puffy deflator too. |

Thanks, Winnie. I know patient is not my strong character. I will report after few weeks.
Dont think the puffies runs in the family .... my right eye shows big undereye bag when lack of sleep, and it's much less visible when I got enough sleep (but, it's not possible, cause I am a very late night person ) The dark circles do seem a reflection from the bag. No hope? |
