Last night, I went to my second appointment with the same plastic surgeon for Restylane in my tear troughs.
The first appointment was last summer. He did a fantastic job and my only complaint was a bruise (not really his fault), that took quite a while to go away.
Last night, he injected in the undereye area and NL folds - they were having a 2 for 1 syringe special.
I woke up this morning with lots of little lumps all along the under eye rim and along the sides of my mouth
I understand these lumps result from injecting too close to the skin and not deep enough....but why would he inject differently this time around?
At the same time, I now have little needle tracks that I did not have last time.
Does this sound normal?
Thanks, BF |

I would call him with your concerns. Restylane left me with several tiny needle tracks and several little hard bumps at my injection site one time, two of them are strangely still there 3 years later. I switched to juvaderm for this reason as it is not supposed to do that.
My doc said sometimes you can get a reaction or the skin becomes more fragile and reacts differently as I had never had them before that.
I would like to hear what your doc says. |

I had the identical situation with the little hard bumps...they are pretty obvious too. They have been there for 4 years now, so I don't know if they will ever go away. |
